DESCRIPTION
Produce high flying/compelling news bulletins and current
affairs programs that will attract viewers and gain customer
affinity. Coordinate various elements of news production from
writing, editing, directing and arranging financing.
Edit and write news stories from information collected by reporters
Manage activities of writers, editors, directors, managers and other
personnel
Do
budgeting,
scheduling,
marketing/promotion

planning

and

branding,

Producing shows for special occasions and resolving personnel


problem

POSITION
REQUIREMENTS
a) Minimum Education & Experience:
1st Degree in Social Science, preferably with a background in
Television/ Production, Mass Communications or Equivalent in
Journalism.
Should be an experienced television professional with strong
research and speaking, writing and time management skills
and understands the importance of disseminating quality news
and talk broadcasts to broad and diverse viewers.

techniques, ordering supplies, and policies and procedures of
the news media platforms

Demonstrated ability to plan and meet deadlines, working with
materials from a variety of sources and collaborators
Ability to interact effectively with colleagues

Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Basic knowledge of television broadcasting equipment,
including digital editing programs, broadcast operating boards,
phone screening systems and portable recording devices.

television programming producer with a reputable
