management, financial stability and rural credit.
He is appointed for period of three years.

The average life expectancy of Japanese women increased to 86.61years and hence
they are the worlds longest-lived women for the consecutive second year.
The men life expectancy increased to 80 years in 2013.
The average life expectancy of men from Hong Kong increase to 80.87 years in 2013
and they are considered to be worlds longest lived men.
The ageing population of Japan is a serious issue for the policy makers.

Dipa Karmakar won bronze medal at Common wealth games 2014at Glasgow.
She is a first women to win the medal at gymnast and also second person in India to
win the medal at CWG.

RTS,S is a worlds first malaria vaccine created by the pharma company GSK.
Vaccine triggers the body immune system to protect against the P falciparum malaria
parasite.

New judicial appointment commission bill

According to the bill, establishment of six member panel to guide the president in
transfer of judges and appointment.

The bill encourages collaborations between judiciary and executive.

3,200 tigers are left in the whole world

According to the report by World Wide Fund, there were 1, 00,000 tigers a century
ago back and now its reduced to 3,200 tigers.
International tiger day is celebrated on July 29th.
Tigers will go extinct due to destruction and poaching activity.
World wide fund declared that the poaching is the biggest threat to the wild tigers
since they are used for medicines and traditional activities.

IAF received the sixth C-17

Indian air force received its sixth C-17 globe master III aircraft at the Palam air base
New Delhi.
C-17 has a potential to carry 75 tonnes of a load.
It has a greater strategic reach of about 4000km and it has capabilities to operate in
all conditions.

Flipkart raises $1 billion

Indias e-retailer Flipkart announced that it has raised funds of worth Rs6000cr, the
largest e-commerce firm.
Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal declared that the deal is inked and it is a milestone
in the Indian internet.
Flipkart is going to be the Indias first $100billion company in next five years.

Cancellation of registration certificates by RBI

Reserve bank of India has cancelled the certificate of registration of six non banking
financial companies based in Delhi.
It is cancelled under section 45-IA(6).
The companies whose registration cancelled are GE strategic investment in India,
Profound exports private limited, two brothers holding limited, Credible
microfinance limited etc.

Rashtriya gokul mission 2014-15

Government of India has allocated Rs 150crore to the mission.


This mission aims to conserve and develop indigenous breeds.
This mission is a focussed project under the National programme for Bovine
breeding and diary development.
The mission will be through the state implementing agency.

Prime minister Narendra Modi launches new web portal

MyGov is a web platform launched by the current PM.


This platform makes easier for a common man and the experts to give suggestion
and ideas to the government.
The web platform is managed by the national informatics centre.
Citizen can volunteers for every task and submit their entries.

New scheme launched for the development of the tribals

Van Bhandhu kalyan Yojna a new scheme for holistic development of the tribals.
The scheme will grant aid to the development of tribal research institutes.
94.4% population of the Mizoram has scheduled tribes.
Even the scheme includes hostel for STs boys and girls.

Investment in DFC

Government has revised the allocation of Rs 80,000cr for dedicated freight


corridor(DFC).
This act on developing the connectivity between ports, mines and power plants,
which will boost the economy.
The manufacturing output will boost to 25% of the GDP by 2025.

India Earned 40 Million Euro Launching Foreign Satellites

By launching 15 foreign satellites from 2011 till date, Science and Technology
Minister Jitendra Singh announced.
India has spent Rs.349.9 crore on its Mars Orbiter Mission until March 31, of the
total project outlay of Rs.450 crore. The Mars Orbiter was launched on November 5
last year.

Cisco to build Asia's first Internet of Things innovation hub in India

Networking solution, giant Cisco announced a strategic engagement with Electronics


city Industries Association (ELCIA) to develop Asia's first end-to-end Internet of
Things (IoT) innovation hub.
