Today after early breakfast we checkout and

proceed for Dalhousie by Road. On arrival at
Dalhousie check in at our pre-booked hotel.
Later we proceed for Dalhousie Local Shopping
Visit.

Today we proceed for Kalatop and Khaijjiar,

Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary is a 30.69 km animal
sanctuary at Kalatop and Khajjiar in the Chamba
district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The sanctuary
area is well laid out for trekking trails both at
Kalatop and Khajjiar.
There is a dense deodar and fir forest covering
19.63 km of the sanctuary, which is about 6 km
from Dalhousie.

DALHOUISE KALATOP KHAIJJIAR DALHOUISE

Pheasants, serow and black bear are some of the

common animals found here. The sanctuary lies in
the path of the Ravi River, and is surrounded by
coniferous and oak forests.

Later we proceed for Khajjiar, 18 kms from

Dalhousie. Its one of the most scenic saucer
shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine
and deodar forests, its beauty has further been
enhanced by a small lake in the center with a
floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the
other interesting places to cover.
Return to Dalhousie and overnight at the hotel.

important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for
the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and

Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13,
1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on
an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds
of civilians.
