Dear Mr Sarma Dasaka
I am delighted to be able to tell you that your application for CEng Engineering Council (EngC)
Registration has been approved. This achievement, which signifies that you have attained a high
level of professional competence, is an important landmark in your career.
Details of the EngC registration fees are enclosed with this letter. It is important to make the EngC
payment promptly. Upon receipt of your payment, which should be received within three months,
your details will be submitted to the EngC for registration as a CEng. Your registration number will
be sent to you by the Engineering Council once the registration process is complete. Only upon
receipt of your registration number will you be entitled to use the designatory letters CEng.
The current list of newly registered engineers and technicians is available on the EngC website at
www.engc.org.uk/newly-registered-engineers
I hope that your membership of the IET will continue to be a source of knowledge and inspiration to
you throughout your career. If you are not already participating in and contributing to IET activities,
I hope you will now take every opportunity to do so. As you know, the IET has a global membership
and your support for your local IET community will, I know, be most welcome.
As an additional benefit, your registration will also enable you to apply for EurIng registration
through FEANI, details can be found at www.feani.org
May I conclude by saying that if there is any matter upon which you now, or at any future date,
require information or advice I or my staff will be delighted to assist. If there are further queries
please call +44 (0)1438 76 5678 where a member of our customer service team will be available to
