INSPIRATION

International Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (IPI) was born out of the desire of one
family to enhance the quality of human life by producing health care
products at affordable prices.
They started out as a liniment business with Efficascent Oil, a product that
they firmly believed in. Inspired by their vision of becoming a major player
in the pharmaceutical industry, coupled with patience and perseverance,
their dream slowly became a reality. The company eventually succeeded in
gaining a sizable market share because of employees who believed in them
as well as the people who trusted their products.
PROGRESS
Fifty years later, the liniment business is now one of the most established
companies in the country today, selling more than fifty products which
include antiseptics, herbal food and beverages, cosmetics, toiletries and
medical devices which are manufactured under strict quality control
measures and with the use of the latest equipment and technology.
Based in Cebu City, IPIs increasing production and sales demand a network
of branches strategically located all over the Philippines. As such, they
operate in the cities of Las Pias, Villasis, Bacolod, Ormoc, Cagayan de Oro,
Davao and Zamboanga, and have sub-depots in Naga, Tuguegarao, Iloilo,
Butuan and Ozamis.

IPI likewise exports its products to countries all over Asia, Europe, North and
Latin America, Africa as well as to the Caribbean Islands.
INNOVATION
The desire to enhance peoples lives has always been the driving force
behind IPIs success, but it does not end there. The quest for improvement
of human life through standards of global excellence continues, and with the
dedication and commitment of its leaders, the road to success shines
brighter than ever.
IPI celebrated its 50th golden anniversary last 2009, and it continues to
view the future with confidence and with determination to find even more
ways to maintain market leadership by vigorously pursuing high quality
standards in all its activities.
The IPI Foundation Inc has been in existence for three years. However,
under the name of Don Go Lam Foundation (1993-2006), the Foundation has
been in operation for 16 years. Owned and operated by the owners of the
International Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (IPI), the IPI Foundation is the
companys expression of its corporate social responsibility. The company is
founded by the Wong-Castillo family, one of Cebus prominent successful
Filipino-Chinese industrialists.
