OTTAWAY, CFP AS AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF OUR FIRM
GROSSE POINTE FARMS, MI (January 2015) - Pointe Capital Management of Grosse Pointe
Farms, Michigan, is pleased to welcome Elizabeth S. Ottaway, CFP as an Executive Director of our
Firm. Liz will be responsible for serving existing clients, developing new client relationships and
consulting on the Firms strategies under management.
Prior to joining the Pointe Capital Management team, Liz spent twenty-one years at Munder Capital
Management as a Senior Investment Manager. While at Munder, Liz served over 140 accounts with
assets of $1.6 billion, including domestic and international corporations, insurance companies,
hospitals, endowment, foundation, and high net-worth clients. Liz provided guidance on investment
policies, portfolio asset allocation and portfolio holdings. Earlier in her career, Liz was an Assistant
Vice-President and Trust Officer for Comerica Bank in Detroit where she coordinated client
relationships and administration for 100 endowment and foundation accounts and managed
investment portfolios for 25 common trust fund accounts. Liz began her career at The Vanguard
Group serving institutional clients including employee retirement plans.
Considering her broad investment background, Liz volunteers as the Chair of the Investment
Committees for a variety of charitable organizations including the St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher
Center, the Young Womans Home Association and the Tau Beta Association.
Liz received her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the College of Financial
Planning, Denver as well as a B.A. in Government from the College of William and Mary.
