Breaker 1-9, Breaker 1-9, this heres

the Rubber Duckie and we have
a new recruit to take an oversized
load to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan...
Over. Yes indeed, we have had
some huge over-sized loads coming
through Glasgow, some headed
for the Bakken and others headed
northward and up to Canada. Fouryear-old Jacob Bishop got the grand
tour of two humongous heaters
headed to a mine outside of Moose
Jaw. The rigs were parked at the
Northeast Montana Fairgrounds
before the sun set for the evening.

Super Bowl XLIX the Duel in the Desert will be
played in the University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday,
February 1st starting at 2:30 p.m. on NBC.
This will be New Englands eighth Super Bowl
appearance (3-4) while Seattle is in its third title game
(1-1). Head Coach Pete Carroll is looking to become
only the seventh coach to lead his team to consecutive
Super Bowl titles, joining Vince Lombardi (Packers), Don
Shula (Dolphins), Chuck Noll (Steelers), Jimmy Johnson
(Cowboys), Mike Shanahan (Broncos) and Bill Belichick
(Patriots). At 63, he would be the second-oldest coach to
win the game behind Tom Coughlin.
This is Bill Belichicks sixth trip to the Super Bowl
as head coach of the Patriots (3-2). Under his leadership
since taking over in 2000, New England is 176-65. He is
the all-time winningest coach in NFL postseason history
with 21, one more than Dallas Tom Landry.

Belichick becomes only the third coach to go up against
his predecessor in the Super Bowl. Pete Carroll had the
Patriots job before Belichick. In Super Bowl XXXVII, Tampa
Bays Jon Gruden faced Oaklands Bill Callahan, Grudens
former assistant with the Raiders. And in Super Bowl III, the
Jets Weeb Ewbank faced his former team Baltimore and Don
Shula.

A small boy named Hameed lived in a village in

Libya. None of his classmates liked him because of his
stupidity, especially his teacher, who was always yelling
at him You are driving me crazy Hameed!
One day Hameeds mother came into school to
check on how he was doing. The teacher told his mother
honestly, that her son was simply a disaster, getting very
low marks and that she had never seen such a dumb boy
in her entire teaching career! The mother was shocked
at the feedback, withdrew her son from the school and
even moved to another town!
Twenty five years later, the teacher was diagnosed
with an incurable cardio disease. All the doctors strongly
advised her to have an open heart operation, which only
one surgeon could perform. Left with no other options,
the teacher decided to have the operation, which was
successful.

When she opened her eyes after the surgery she saw
a handsome doctor smiling down at her! She wanted to
thank him, but could not talk. Her face started to turn
blue, she raised her hand, trying to tell him something,
but eventually died!

The doctor was shocked and was trying to work out
what went wrong, when he turned around he saw our
friend Hameed, working as a cleaner in the clinic, who
had unplugged the oxygen equipment to connect his
vacuum cleaner.

Now seriously, please dont say you thought Hameed
had become a doctor?!?

Fish-consumption Advisory Below

Oil Spill in the Yellowstone River

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has issued a

consumption advisory for fish caught in the Yellowstone
River in the area of a Jan. 17, 2015, oil spill west of
Glendive.
People who have caught fish in the Yellowstone
River between the spill site, six miles upstream from
Glendive, and the North Dakota state line should be
cautious about consuming them.
This week FWP biologists started capturing fish
below the oil spill site and sending them to a laboratory
for testing. Biologists and game wardens also are asking
anglers if they will donate fish from their catch for
laboratory testing. Test results should be returned in
the next two weeks and FWP will publish the data so
fishermen can determine whether their catch is suitable
for consumption.
Published research indicates that petroleum
compounds can accumulate in fish for 40 or more
days after a spill. FWP will continue to sample fish
throughout the river to try to detect any accumulation.
Petroleum compounds can also be passed on to fish
through the food chain when micro-organisms, insects,
worms, crustaceans and other aquatic animals absorb
petroleum compounds and then are eaten by fish.
The advisory was issued as a precaution, advising
anglers to tend toward conservative decisions and
prudent practice when it comes to the health effects of
the oil spill.
In addition to paddlefish and endangered pallid
sturgeon, this stretch of the Yellowstone River holds and
additional 49 known species:
channel catfish, sauger, walleye, northern pike,
bigmouth buffalo, black bullhead, black crappie,
bluegill, blue sucker, brassy minnow, brook stickleback,
burbot, cisco, common carp, creek chub, emerald
shiner, fathead minnow, flathead chub, freshwater
drum, goldeye, golden shiner, green sunfish, lake chub,
largemouth bass, longnose dace, longnose sucker,
mountain sucker, northern redbelly dace, plains
minnow, plains killifish, pumpkinseed, rainbow smelt,
river carpsucker, sand shiner, shorthead redhorse,
shortnose gar, shovelnose sturgeon, sicklefin chub,
smallmouth bass, smallmouth buffalo, spottail shiner,
stonecat, sturgeon chub, western silvery minnow, white
bass, white crappie, white sucker, yellow bullhead and
yellow perch.

Who was Thomas Jefferson?

Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who

started learning very early in life and never stopped.
At 5, began studying under his cousins tutor.
At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French.
At 14, studied classical literature and additional
languages.
At 16, entered the College of William and Mary. Also
could write in Greek with one hand while writing the
same in Latin with the other.
At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under George
Wythe.
At 23, started his own law practice.
At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses.
At 31, wrote the widely circulated Summary View of
the Rights of British America? And retired from his
law practice.
At 32, was a Delegate to the Second Continental
Congress.
At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence.
At 33, took three years to revise Virginias legal code
and wrote a Public Education bill and a statute for
Religious Freedom.
At 36, was elected the second Governor of Virginia
succeeding Patrick Henry.
At 40, served in Congress for two years.
At 41, was the American minister to France and
negotiated commercial treaties with European nations
along with Ben Franklin and John Adams.
At 46, served as the first Secretary of State under
George Washington.
At 53, served as Vice President and was elected
president of the American Philosophical Society.
At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions and became
the active head of Republican Party.
At 57, was elected the third president of the United
States.
At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase doubling the
nations size.
At 61, was elected to a second term as President.
At 65, retired to Monticello.
At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe
Doctrine.
At 81, almost single-handedly created the University
of Virginia and served as its first president.
At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the
Declaration of Independence along with John Adams.
Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the
previous failed attempts at government. He understood
actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature

of man. That happens to be way more than what most

understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice
from the past to lead us in the future:

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for
a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time.
He made this statement: This is perhaps the assembly
of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in
the White House with the exception of when Thomas
Jefferson dined alone.
Some Thomas Jefferson Quotes:
When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in
Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe.
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away
from those who are willing to work and give to those
who would not.
It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts
as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save onehalf the wars of the world.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can
prevent the government from wasting the labors of the
people under the pretense of taking care of them.
My reading of history convinces me that most bad
government results from too much government.
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right
to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect
themselves against tyranny in government.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time
with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the
propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is
sinful and tyrannical.
Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
I believe that banking institutions are more
dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the
American people ever allow private banks to control
the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by
deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up
around the banks will deprive the people of all property
- until their children wake-up homeless on the continent
their fathers conquered.

Tax Season Scam Alert

Montana Attorney General Tim Fox is warning people
about aggressive and sometimes threatening phone calls
from scammers that are impersonating Internal Revenue
Service agents.
The scammers try to trick people into believing
they owe tax debt and demand that payments be made
immediately over the phone.

Fox says that the scammers also threaten to take legal
action if the taxpayer fails to immediately pay taxes from
previous tax years. The callers demand payment by credit
cards, prepaid debit cards, or wire transfers.
Sometimes, the callers are even leaving voicemails
for taxpayers to call back. Once the potential victim
returns the call, the scammer immediately goes into their
demands for immediate payment. The calls are believed to
be originating from overseas locations and phone numbers
are spoofed, making tracking the individuals carrying
out theses scams very difficult. Fox said the scams could
also come in the form of an email.

Across the nation, millions of dollars have been lost
and the IRS encourages people to educate themselves
about several IRS related scams, including the IRS
Impersonation Phone Scam, visit the IRS website.

Consumers need to know that the IRS doesnt coldcall people and demand payment by phone. So if you get a
call from a person who claims to be from the IRS and they
are demanding money from you over the phone, you can
hang up, Attorney General Fox added.

Anyone wondering whether they owe previous years
federal taxes should seek help by contacting the IRS
Taxpayer Assistance Office at (800) 829-1040. Questions
about state taxes can be directed to the Montana
Department of Revenue at (866) 859-2254.
Consumers receiving these calls should do the
following:
1. Do not provide any bank account or other personal or
financial information to a person or company that you
dont know.
2. Do not wire money to a person or company you dont
know.
3. Hang up the phone.
4. If you think you owe taxes, call the IRS or the Montana
Department of Revenue directly.

For more information on this and other scams, visit
the MT Office of Consumer Protection website, or call:
(800) 481-6896 or (406) 444-4500; Fax: (406) 442-2174.
