Operation Manual

This machine is operated completely through the touch screen,and now we

present the below instruction:
Upon the connection to electricity,there will be an option picture with 2 different
languages,Chinese and English, and english-language speakers please press
ENGLISH key.

Description:With pressing Monitor, we can see the Monitor picture;

Manual,we can see manual options picture;Set , we can set the datas
we need and Delete, all the previous data set will be removed
REMARKS:

Upon the connection to the electricity, choose ENGLISH into Main

Menu (in case the operators are english speakes), and press
Monitor into monitor screen,where there will be some relative
datas,then the operator can start to run the machine.
Only after the touch screen turn into green color when STOP key
pressed in Manaul state with all the parameters set,it is availbe to
operate the machine.
To avoid the loss caused by the measurement tolerance due to the
Length Ratio of rollers, a test function was developped particularly:
The machine will stop running when the Display Length of the first
sheet gets close to the Set Length. If the measured length is more or
less the same as the Display Length, users can press Start key to run
the machine again;otherwise if there are big difference between the
measured length and Display Length, users can modify the Length
Ratio accordingly and then start the machine again.

Monitor Picture

Monitor Picture tells the working state of machine. Length shows the
length of each of steel sheet, Accum shows the number of sheets already
finished. Number shows the total quantities of the roofing sheets clients
set on the device. Manual here is interchangeable with Automatic,by
pressing which users can run the machine manually or automatically.
Back here will take you back to the main screen.
The system will automatically switch to the diagnosis screen in case of
any breakdowns, and equipment will stop working until users find out the
and solve the problems based on the troubleshooting tips.

Auxiliary Picture
In this picture,there are 2 different images,where users can do different
operation.

Auxiliary Image 1: In this image,users can operate the roll former in

Manual state.

FORWARDMachine goes forward;

REVERSEMachine goes backward.

Auxiliary Image 2: In this image,users can operate the hydraulic cutter

in Manual state.

Auxiliary Picture can be activated only when:

in Manual state ( Switch to Manual in Automatic picture)
Emergency Stop Button in the pop-up state (In case the button
pressed down, just turn it to the right,and it will be pop-up
automatically.)

SET Picture

There are 5 different images for 5 different groups of datas (Length and
Number)for set 5 groups data. The machine wont work until the users
confirm all the datas.

On the main screen, press Set into Set image 1, which is used to set first
group data ( Length 1, Number 1). Press Length area,a numeric area will
show up where users can set the required length and then press ENT to
confirm(In case of any wrong inputting,press CTR button to change);it is
the same way to set and confirm the Number(it means the required
quantities of the metal sheets for the production);Different Length or
Number can be set in different images (Image 2-Image 5)which users

can see by pressing Next button. It is important to note that after set all
the datas of requried Length and Number, Confirm button must be
pressed to activate otherwise all your inputed datas will be cancelled
without save.

Example: We need to proudce metal sheets with quantities 100 pieces

and length 20 meters. We need to do as follows:
Length1:20.00M
Number1:100
After setting the data, press Confirm to activate and then press STOP
button to be back to screen.
System Image:

There is a System key in Set Picture.Users can get to System picture

by pressng System. of setting screen into system screen. This screen
is used to set the system data of machine,and users are not suggested
make any changes if not necessry.

Brake Distance: As the thickness of steel sheets varies,the motor

wont reduce the speed always at the same time, and the result is the
Brake Distance,which should be adjusted according to the display
length,saying it should be increased if the Display Length is bigger
than the fact length(real measured length),or decreased if samller.
Just press the Brake Distance data area,and then give the required
number on the numerica areas(for example: if display length is 8mm

bigger than the fact length, the Brake Distance should be increased by
8mm ). This change will impact the accuracy of the length of finished
products. The set data is not advised to change often if process of the
machine not changed.(default set is 20mm)
Cutter Width: Default datas and users are not allowed to change.
Length Ratio: There will be different between theoretical Length
Ratio and real Length Ratia due to the quality difference on the
surface of steel sheets, the slickenside caused by the friction deflation
of between measuring device and steel sheets,and sometimes the

processment and assemble of the measuring device, so users are

suggested to make some change if there are any difference between
the Display Length and Fact Length. Users can press Calculate in
System Image and will be taken into Calculate picture and input the
relative datas, press the Calculate button to complete the calculation
of this parameter operation.

How to start machine:

Upon the connection to the electricity,choose ENGLISH button to go to main
screen. Press Set into Set Picture;after setting the Length & Number data, users
must press Confirm button and then press STOP button to be back to the
touchscreen;Choose ENGLISH once again to main screen, then press Monitor to
monitor picture. Select Automatic work mode ( via pressing Manual to select ).
Press the bottom Start botton ( the Green Botton ), machine will work
automatically. In any case to stop the machine for a break,just press STOP
button ( the Red Botton ), if next time to run machine, only press the START
botton again. If any emergency issues happen, press Emergency Stop botton
( the Red Mushroom Botton ), machine will stop immediately. The red mushroom
botton have self-lock function, if need to recover bounce, only to rotate along the
direction of the arrow. Otherwise the machine will not work.
NOTE:
Touch screen is fragile,and easy to break down under hit by heavy items,so it is
suggested to operate with rubber pencil.
