    Coastal area of East Africa
    Size
    Up to 15 cm
    Age
    5-7 years
    Habitat
    Tropical and always damp/wet areas, also found in forests, grass steppe as well cultivated land
    Housing
    . Terrarium (for long term care) Aquarium with fitted lid or one of the plastic critter cages, size at
    least 60x30x30 cm, 4-6 snails.
    Substrate
    Coconut soil and Jungle Bedding mixed, also add some Sphagnum Moss
    Lighting
    Daylight Sun T5 in combination with Light Strip
    Temperature/Humidity
    22-27C, at night 21-22C
    Humidity 75-80%
    Feeding
    Fruit, vegetable, dandelion, soaked turtle food, not cabbage, watch over while feeding citrus fruit.
    Sprinkle with Calcium powder every feed plus add a cuttlefish bone. If the shell becomes miss
    shaped or soft they are not getting enough Calcium.
    Reproduction
    Up to 500 eggs, incubation at room temperature
    Dcor
    Hiding places, some branches for climbing and Water Dishes is the basic equipment.
