Avatar Bot

Project Porposal Defenece

Introduction

Mobile robot (provide two way audio or video communications)

less expensive telepresence robot.
Controlled by user via android application.
Four senses (smell, touch, sense of sight and smell)
Laser to point an object

Intro.. cont
Tablet PC for video and sound communication (hearing
and sense of sight)
Bumper which have tactic sensors to sense touch.
Toxic sensors for smell sensing.
Sonar or infrared sensors le for its autonomous operation
Battery timing is good and rechargeable

Problem Statement

To make a Avatar Bot which works on master

slave topology and have four senses (sight, smell,
touch and hearing).

PWM And Motors

PWM (pulse width modulation) - controls the speed of the
motor by sending pulses.
12 volt motors
12V 25mm Micro DC Gear Motors
12/24V DC 20/40RPM Geared Motor Japan

Major Challanges

Create energy efficient robot

Make autonomous
Make robust
Make Water proof up to some extent
Make look user friendly
