Friday November 25th: EVENING TALK TAIPEI
COSMIC WEATHER REPORT
Melanie will describe the current major astrological themes and
planetary inter-aspects. Our knowledge of astrology can help us
make wise decisions, and to ride the waves of changes in a
productive way. It also helps us clarify our own experience, and
therefore can promote inner harmony.

Saturday November 26th: WORKSHOP

CHIRON AND THE HEALING JOURNEY
Melanie will introduce Chiron and evoke its meaning in the
astrological horoscope by exploring its mythology and astronomy.
Our journey through life is always accompanied by Chiron, who
represents the inner wisdom which enables us to meet our suffering
in a way which deepens our compassion and awareness. The day
will include a healing meditation.

Sunday November 27th : WORKSHOP

DRAGONS HEAD AND TAIL NODES AND ECLIPSES
The Nodal Axis is where Solar and Lunar eclipses occur. This day will
explore their personal significance and meaning. The Nodal Axis
reflects the interconnections between the orbits of the Earth and
Moon around the Sun, and symbolises a process of balance and

alignment in our own life. It is like the spine which holds the central
nervous system, and around which the body functions. Eclipses
provide us with definite markers which provide guidance and
direction.

Monday November 28th : EVENING MASTERCLASS

WORKING WITH OUR TRANSITS
In this masterclass, Melanie will demonstrate how the movement of
transits through their cycle of contacts to the horoscope offers
information which can help us live more wisely. Examples from the
class will be used.

HOW TO APPROACH YOUR BIRTH CHART
In this master class, Melanie will describe an approach to the
horoscope which enables us to use it as a mirror of our inner journey
through life. Astrology offers a powerful aid to self-reflection, freeing
the mind and supporting our awakening. This approach takes us
beyond the mechanical or fatalistic into the realm of soul. In
these times of powerful collective movement, our astrology can be
invaluable in helping us to stay connected with the centre of our
personal experience, to understand and accept others as they are,
and to grow in compassion.

Saturday 12th November: WORKSHOP

CHIRON AND THE HEALING JOURNEY
The minor planet Chiron provides us with precise signification for the
journey of healing, which we travel throughout life. Attending to our
suffering allows its wisdom to be revealed, and helps us to open our
hearts to ourselves and others. To help you understand
Chiron, Melanie will offer material drawn from a rich variety of
sources mythological, astronomical and psychological. The cycle of
Chiron and the Chiron Return at age 50 will also be discussed.

Sunday 13th November: WORKSHOP

HEALING MEDITATIONS WITH CHIRON
During this day, Melanie will explore Chirons process in a practical
and experiential way. Participants will engage with their own Chiron
placements using a contemplative approach, through meditation
and imagination, in addition to exploring the astrological details.

About Melanie
Melanie was born in Zimbabwe, whose night skies inspired her
vocation of astrology in 1959. She holds a B.A. Degree in English,
Music and Drama (Cape Town), and has been a professional
astrologer since 1975. She is a prize-winning Diploma-holder of the
Faculty of Astrological Studies, of whom she is also a Patron, also
receiving the prestigious Charles Harvey Award in 2004, for
exceptional service within astrology. She has taught for some of
the world's leading astrology schools in the UK and abroad, and has
also presented original research material at many international

conferences. She maintains a busy practice with an international

clientele, and also runs her own programme of workshops in
London; she works regularly in Bali with Heaven and Earth
Workshops (www.heavenandearthworkshops.com). Published works
include numerous journal articles and books include: 'Chiron and the
Healing Journey', 'Chiron, Saturn and the Centaurs', and
'Incarnation'. She also contributed to the anthologies 'The Mars
Quartet' and Modern South Africa in Search of a Soul. Her books
have been translated into seven languages. Melanie has wide
experience of spiritual teachings and therapeutic methods both
physical and psychological, and has a special interest in meditative
