COVET
The tenth commandment deals with
the wrongful desire of the heart
which is COVETOUSNESS, from
which stealing can arise. It forbids
great selfishness
and
greed
arising
SIMILARITIES
from a great desire for richness and
power, and even envy to the success
of others
(CFC 1147).

Jesus asks us to live under
the loving providence of the
Father. We must not
excessively worry about our
daily needs because God the
Father knows what we need.
Thus, we should not be more
selfish with what we have for
we should also consider
others good and benefits (cf.
CCC 2404).

which can result to stealing.
