Hoping to Boost Yearbook Sales

school year quickly
approaching, Minnedosa
Collegiate is in full swing
with its annual yearbook
preparations.
Between
two teachers, Mrs. Tanis
Barrett and Mrs. Sandra
Enns and the ten students
that make up the yearbook
committee, they are hard
at work to make this years
book one of the best yet.
In recent years, even
though many students
seem to be interested in
getting a yearbook, the
committee has found the
sales to be low. This year,
they are hoping for a boost
in sales and to encourage
every student to have a
yearbook to cherish in the
years to come.
With social media,
students think they have
enough memories to go
back and look at. However, not all social media will
be around in ten years.
Th ere are also concerns
with students not getting
their yearbook orders in
on time, which is a must
to ensure you get your
yearbook. Th ere is even
the fact that parents dont
know the necessary information to help their children make an informed
decision when discussing the option. All of this
can cause low sales which
could possibly end there
being a yearbook published for future classes.

The committee guarantees
that each and every student will be in the book at
least three times.

Th e yearbook offers
not only pictures but articles on students, sports
and big events throughout
the school year. A yearbook can even be a great
gift for students at the end

of their school year.


This years book has an
additional 12 pages than
previous copies which
means more pictures and
space for events including, but not limited to, be-

ing able to put the sports


teams on separate pages
instead of having them
combined on one page.
