The French Federation of Badminton (FFBaD) is proud to invite your players to
compete in the Yonex French Badminton Open 2013, from 22 27 October 2013
which is part of the prestigious OSIM BWF World Superseries.
This letter, which includes all the General Information concerning the Event, contains
important details that should also be brought to the attention of the Team Manager as
well as the players.

GENERALRULES

The competition is organized in accordance with the General Competition

Regulations and with the specific regulations of the OSIM BWF World
Superseries.
The Tournament will be run strictly in accordance with the OSIM BWF World
Superseriesregulations.

ONLINEENTRIES

WhentheentriesaresentusingtheBWFOnlineEntrySystem,aftertheclosing
date, the BWF Online Entry System will send an Entry Confirmation to all
participatingMemberAssociationsconfirmingthereceiptoffinalentries.
This confirmation is the conclusive evidence of receipt of entries before the
deadline. The Member Associations shall contact BWF immediately if such
confirmation is not received by Wednesday by noon BWF Headquarters time
(+08.00 GMT) following close of entries. Any objection to the entries should be
notifiedtoBWF.
Following the close of entries if no objection is received by BWF by Thursday
23.59hoursBWFHeadquarterstime(+08.00GMT)theentriesshalldeemedtobe
correct.Nocomplaints/objectionsshallbeentertainedthereafter.

SEEDINGANDDRAWS Friday 4th October. The draws will be conducted in accordance with the OSIM

All players must strictly adhere to any request of the Organizers to attend all

CLOTHING AND ADVERTISING REGULATIONS

BWFCompetitionRegulation23willapply.Advertisingonclothingshallbein
accordancewiththeprevailingregulationoftheBWFforSuperseries.The
updatedGCRispublishedonBWFwebsite.(Linkedhere)

ADVERTISING

Advertisingfortobaccoandalcoholcompaniesiscompletelyforbiddenbythe
Frenchlaw.
BWF Competition Regulations 19 to 22 and any subsequent regulations will
apply.TheBWFRegulationsrequireplayersnamestobeonthebackoftheir
shirts and give the option of also having their country and/or advertising
beneaththename.ThisRegulationalsoappliestotheQualifyingRounds.

Itismandatorythat,inthemaindrawonwards,theopposingpairsineach
matchwearsignificantlydifferentcoloursfromeachother.

NAMESANDCOLOURS

In Doubles : It is mandatory for doubles partners to wear same colour from

maindrawonwards

Intheeventthattheopposingplayers/pairsinvolvedinamatchwishtowear
the same coloured clothing, the player/pair ranked lower (using the BWF
World Ranking used to produce the final Main & Qualifying (M & Q) Report
willberequiredtowearclothingofadifferentcolour.
Please refer to the BWF General Competition Regulations for additional
obligationandregulationconcerningclothing.

Practice courts will be available from Sunday 20th October, at the Coubertin
Stadium.DedicatedshuttleswillbeavailablefortransfersfromtheHoteltothe

STRINGING

Yonex Strings will be available free of charge for players sponsored by Yonex
(strings+laying+grip).
