    TheMaritimePocket,squareinshape,isadjacenttotheferrypiers.Itprimarilyaccommodatestransportation
    facilities,whilealsoprovidingcultural,entertainment,retailandrestaurants.Alargeoutdoorcourtyardframesthe
    busstationbelow.Accesstotheferrypier,thecruiseterminalandtheundergroundpassagetotheMRTstations
    canbefoundatgrade.TheroofdeckcontainsaMaritimeMuseum,restaurantsandcafes,andoffices,and
    featuresapubliclyaccessiblelandscapeddeck.Thecruiseterminalfacilitiesandthepassengertransitareaare
    locatedatthesouthwesternperimeterofthepocket.
    TheCommercialPocket,thelargestinthemasterplan,isdefinedasalowriserectilinearvolumebrokendowninto
    threecourtyardrings,eachwithadifferentheightanditsowndistinctoutdoorspace.TheCommercialPocket
    provides,apartfromleasableretailspace,indoorandoutdoorrecreationalspacesatdifferentlevelswithviewsto
    theharborandthecity.Restaurantsandcafesarelocatedatthesoutherntipwithviewstothewaterfront,aswell
    aswithinseveralofthesuspendedvolumesspanningacrossthewidthofthepocket.Porousatgroundlevel,it
    allowsuninterruptedaccessfromthesurroundingcityblocks,establishinganintimaterelationshipbetweenthe
    pocketandtherestofthesite.TheCommercialPocketisalsoconnectedtotheMRTstationandthustotherest
    ofShenzhen.
    TheCommunityPocketisaseriesofhighrisetowersarrangedinacircularconfiguration.Heightsofthebuildings
    aredefinedtoallowformaximumpermeabilityandaviewingcorridor.Amenityfacilitiesarelocatedatgroundlevel,
    withinandalongtheedgeofthecircularconfiguration,activatingboththeCommunityPocketandtheadjacent
    waterfront.
    Lastly,thelandscapecityprovidesasettingforthethreepockets.Withintheuniformgridestablishedbytheroad
    network,zonesofpublicgreenspaceoccurwithincityblocksandatmajorintersections.Theregularlayout
    providesaccessibilityandflexibleuses,whileenhancingnavigationwithinthesite.Inprinciple,thelandscapecity
    isdesignedtoaccommodatearichprogrammix,includingapreservationarea,lowdensitybusinesspark,an
    internationalschool,ahospital,andahealthymixofofficeandresidentialprogramsthatincludesaniconicoffice
    tower.
