2 team scrimmage plan

- preferably scheduled for a Saturday, 5:00 - 8:30 PM (allows for walk thru practice in the AM)

Field open for team stretch/warm up

(6:00 - 6:30)

First Group of 12 plays (no Specials)

- Team A on offense, Team B on defense

- Ball spotted at -40

- Offense begins 1 & 10 and continues downfield, using normal down and distance protocol
- until they score, or fail to convert (after reaching 12 plays)
- Teams swap offense/defense and repeat
(6:30 - 7:20)

Second Group of 12 plays (w/Specials)

- Team A on offense, Team B on defense

- Ball spotted at -40 with first play being a kickoff (Team B kicking to Team A)

- Offense begins 1 & 10 and continues downfield, using normal down and distance protocol
- on fourth down, offense can punt and receive an additional series of downs (until theyve
reached the 12 play threshold) OR they can attempt to convert and either do so and retain
possession, or relinquish possession (and then kickoff)
- Offense continues downfield until score TD, kick FG, or fail to convert
- PATs (1 or 2 point) will be attempted after any TD (offensive or defensive)
- Teams swap offense/defense and repeat

- Team A runs five plays (varying D & D each time)
- Teams swap offense/defense and repeat (each team getting 2 offensive and 2 defensive reps)

- Ball spotted at the 50, D & D is announced, play is run
- Team A runs five plays (varying D & D each time)
- Teams swap offense/defense and repeat (each team getting 2 offensive and 2 defensive reps)
Two Minutes = Team A on offense, Team B on defense
- Ball spotted at the -35, 2:00 minutes on game clock - 2 timeouts (each team)
- Team A starts drive, goes until they score or the clock runs out
- Teams swap offense/defense and repeat (each team getting 1 offensive and 1 defensive rep)
