The world anime comes from the abbreviation of the English Word animation.
This is the term that identifies the origin of the Japanese cartons. It started as a
commercial entertainment product which has caused a cultural phenomenon and a
technological art form.
The audiences range from children to adults, the themes and genres are diverse
as love, adventure, science fiction, childrens stories, literature, sports, fantasy,
mythology, erotic and more.
The most important designer of anime series is Akira Toriyama and his main work
is Dragon ball.
In this presentation we will talk about the anime, the influence it has had and its
relevance in todays world, when this series were created, why theyre so popular
and so on. We will also talk about some of the series that have had greater
relevance in recent years.
The anime series first arose at the star of the 20 th century in Japan when Japanese
filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques. After this it expanded
around the world in France, Germany, the United States and Russia.
The anime series initially werent recognized but the work of Osamu Tezuka
attracted peoples attention and interest to see this type of series, and this
character Tezuka is considerated a legend of the anime.
Many experts in the topic refer to anime as an art form. As a visual medium, it can
emphasize visual styles. The styles can vary from the artist or from studio to studio.
Hayao Miyazaki: With the premiere of the princess Mononoke (1997) the name of
the Studio Ghibli returns to resound. With this history set in the age Muromachi, it
turns to the topic of the Nature threatened by the human beings. Exceeding all the
