for

I
would
work
to

on
the
success
of

Detailed
Manifesto
Prepara,on
1.
Training:
Maintain
and
improve
the
provision
of
skills
training
and
interview
support;
using
both
internal
and
external
resources.
We
already
have
a
successful
partnership
with
Fitch
learning
which
will
become
an
area
of
greater
focus,
however,
we
will
also
seek
to
provide
internal
clinics
focusing
on
CV
skills,
interview
technique
and
competency
ques7ons;
leveraging
the
knowledge
of
exis7ng
members.
2.
Workshops:
Create
a
series
of
specialised
workshops
to
give
members
a
keen
insight
into
specic
areas
of
nance;
gaining
a
keen
insight
into
what
certain
roles
entail.
I
would
also
work
to
create
a
brieng,
containing
comprehensive
background
nancial
informa7on,
to
prepare
members
for
the
interview
stage.
3.
Research:
Expand
and
restructure
the
Research
Division;
delivering
more
concise
and
contemporary
market
analysis
for
our
members
on
a
frequent
basis.
I
will
aim
to
provide
a
bi-monthly
report,
detailing
the
state
of
the
markets,
to
provide
our
members
with
the
informa7on
they
need
to
succeed.
Collabora,on
1.
Eciency:
Formalise
co-opera7on
with
other
nancial
socie7es;
aiming
to
establish
an
inter-societal
framework
to
ll
undersubscribed
events:
a
quid
pro
quo,
whereby
a
nancial
society
could
use
other
socie7es
to
ll
empty
places.
I
believe
this
would
give
our
members
access
to
a
wider
range
of
events,
while
also
suppor7ng
our
exis7ng
events.
2.
Conferences:
The
Finance
Society
is
currently
proud
to
host
the
Investment
Banking
Conference
I
wish
to
con7nue
working
closely
with
the
conference
organisers
to
make
this
the
gurehead
of
our
outreach
program;
promo7ng
the
professional
development
of
a
global
pool
of
students
and
raising
the
prole
of
our
society.
3.
Ambi,ous
Events:
Enter
into
discussions
about
pooling
resources,
for
bigger
events
and
training
sessions;
while
s7ll
maintaining
the
societys
individual
reputa7on
and
compe77ve
edge.
Integra,on
1.
Socials:
Create
social
events
to
forge
a
more
interconnected
society;
not
simply
an
ac7ve
sub
commi@ee
with
peripheral
members.
Whether
one
wants
to
develop
ones
future
professional
network
or
simply
enjoy
themselves
these
events
would
mark
a
gestalt
shi[
in
the
societys
culture!
2.
Alumni
Program:
Create
a
Finance
Society
Alumni
Program
with
the
op7on
for
exis7ng
members
to
join
upon
leaving
the
LSE;
members
will
receive
The
Analyst
and
be
part
of
an
invite-only
LinkedIn
group.
Maintaining
connec7ons
with
former
Finance
Society
Members
will
not
only
provide
opportunity
for
members
when
they
leave,
but
would
also
aord
us
a
pla_orm
to
create
more
ambi7ous
networking
events
and
mentoring
schemes
for
exis7ng
members.
3.
Internal
Mee,ngs:
Encourage
internal
dialogue
and
collabora7on
between
divisions:
I
would
establish
twice
termly
mee7ngs
between
the
subcommi@ees
and
would
work
to
create
an
atmosphere
of
coopera7on
within
the
execu7ve
commi@ee.
