American Program-Save the Date
Hardy Brown College Preps 2nd Annual
African American Program will be held
on Friday, February 27th. Each grade
level will be given time to do a short
play, song, timeline, dance etc. Last
year the event was a HUGE success! You
wont want to miss it. Save the date!

H.B.C.P is Now Enrolling Grades

2015-2016 school year!
Spread the word to others!
The first TWO families to refer 4
different families to Hardy Brown
College Prep, will have an
opportunity to win a family of 4
dinner and movies prize on us. All
families must be referred by Friday,
February 27th. Please see Ms. Becerra
for more details.

Perfect Attendance Luncheon

Any scholar who has zero absences in
Trimester 1 AND Trimester 2, will be
invited to a Perfect Attendance Luncheon
along with their paretnt(s)/guardian(s), on
February 24th from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
Invites will go out this week. Trimester 2
ends at the end of this month. Lets keep
bringing our scholars to school every day,
on time!

H.B.C.P Celebrates Black

History Month
Each week during the month of February,
our scholars will learn about two
influential African Amercians a week.
This week our scholars are learning about
Rosa Parks and Maya Angelou. Each
week artwork, wrtitings, etc. will be
selected from classrooms to be displayed
in the MPR (see picture below).

Trimester 2 Honor Roll Ceremony

H.B.C.Ps Trimester 2 Honor Roll Ceremony
will be on Wednesday, March 25th. The
ceremony has been pushed back until after
Intersession/Spring Break, to allow enough
time for all assessments to be given, and
grades finalized. All Honor Roll letters will
be sent home on February 25th.

H.B.C.P is selling yearbooks!!

Yearbooks are still for sale. If you want to
purchase a yearbook for your child(ren),
please take an envelope from the front
office, insert your money, and write
yearbook on the envelope and place the
envelope in the deposit box in the office.
$15 is a GREAT price! The deadline is
March 13th.
