The text in task 2 is an example of a narrative. Narrative is a text

which deals with the problematic event that leads to a crisis
(complication) which in turn finds a resolution.
Purpose of narrative is to amuse or entertain the readers or
listeners deal with the actual or imaginative experiences in
different ways.
Generic structures of a narrative text are:
- Orintation
Its the opening of the story. It introduces the main
characters, setting of places and times of the story
- Complication
It tells problematic events of the story.
- Resolution
Its the end of the story which the characters finally
solve the complication
Language features of a narrative are:
It uses past tense , temporal conjunction, behavioral ,
and verbal process, action verb and descriptive words.
The example of narrative text are stories,
legend, tales, ballads, fabels, novels, real-life
fictions, etc.

BEGGARS AND PRINCES KING

Such a beautiful girl princess. Because wallowing in wealth, the princess has a bad character. He was
always spending money for things that are not necessary. While the King was never refused her
willpower. One of the princess craze is collecting jewelry of diamonds. He already has a chest of
drawers-drawer jewelry from various countries.
One time the King took the princess around town. After a brief stop in various places, they stopped in
front of a beautiful building. In front of the building there is a fountain. The Princess was very
fascinated with the beautiful fountain. Fountain that emits a vile, very beautiful. Due to sun exposure,
grain-grain water it emits light sheen of diamonds tub. The enchanted princess.
Coming home from a trip, the princess asked for the fountain in front of the palace. The king granted

Meanwhile, the princess continued to demand that his request was granted. Suddenly, an old beggar
came to the palace bent.
"Are you an expert gem?" Said the King.
"No, sire. Slave just a beggar. But, why ask the jeweler Majesty? "The beggar asked. Then the King
tells the story of her daughter's wishes.
"Allow servant tried it, Sire," said Si Beggars later.
"Look, if it fails, a prison where you are!" Threatened the King.
The beggar then call Princess. "Princess, please bring water droplets it here!" Pleaded Si Beggar
Princess, pointing to the fountain in front of the palace. The Princess obey the commands The Beggar

Beggar's tactics, he came in hot weather.
"If there is no water droplets, how I can grant the request of the princess?I guess nobody is able to

Beggar quietly left the palace.
The Beggar's what it said was very touching princess. The Princess realized his mistake. Then he
asked the King to release all experts gems. The entire jewelry diamonds possessed princess jewel
distributed to experts in compensation. Since then the Princess lived simply and never ask
nonsensical.
