Cordell hull:

Cordell hull is born on 1871 and is an American politician from Tennessee

He holds the position secretary of state for 11 years. Also, he received
the noble prize in 1945 for his role in establishing the United Nations and
is commonly referred to as the father of United Nations.
He was born in a log cabin in Olympus and became the elected chairman
of Clay County Democratic Party at the age of 19. In 1891, he graduated from
Cumberland school of law and was brought into the bar as a youth. During the
Spanish-american war, he served in cuba as a captain. Also, he served
eleven terms in the united states house of representatives. When he was
elected to be secretary of state, he strove to enlarge foreign trade and
lower tariffs. After 1944, hull resigned as secretary of state because of his
failing health. Hull died in 1955 due to several strokes and heart attacks.
Upon his departure, hull was described as the one person in all the world
who has done his most to make this great plan for peace an effective
fact.

Developing the vision:
Cordell hulls vision is to have peace and international understanding. One
of his aims in life is to have a new era of human progress, an international
economic order as the basis for peace and prosperity in the world.
Selling the vision:
One of the ways Cordell hull sold his vision was to set up a foundation
called cordell hull foundation which was organized in 1951. His main aim
for this foundation is for it to operate for charitable and educational
purposes and also to promote peace and understanding among people in
the world through educational means. Also, shortly after the outbreak of
world war two, he proposed the formation of a new world organization
(UN) which he hoped would help United States to avoid any situation of
another world war and also help keep peace in the world. To achieve this,
he formed an advisory committee on postwar foreign policy. During his
life, in order to sell his vision of having international peace and
understanding, he constantly sells his vision through many organizations
he set up.
Finding the way forward:
Cordell Hull is a good leader who finds the way forward even though
mistakes were made. As long as he feels progress of his vision is made, he

would be happy. When he sees peace and international understanding

being promoted, he would also be happy.
Leading the charge:
Hull lead the charge in selling his vision of having peace and international
understanding in the world through his many ways of motivating and
encouraging the people. For example, he created groups and
organizations which promote his vision in order to start leading the way of
having peace in the world.
