PA FBLA MIDDLE LEVEL READY TO

STEP UP TO THE CHALLENGE

With over 300 members last year, the PA FBLA Middle Level chapter continues to
grow strong and offer members leadership opportunities.
Middle Level members have the opportunity to participate in the annual State
Leadership Workshop in November. They can participate in the Opening General
Session, a special Middle Level event and opportunities session, two days of actionpacked workshops, the Closing General Session, and state officer plans of work
activities such as the Dodgeball Tournament, Basket Auction, etc.
In 2014-2015 the PA FBLA Middle Level chapter will continue to bring leadership
opportunities to the membership. In addition to the Middle Level participation at
the State Leadership Workshop, members can get involved in the following ways:

MIDDLE LEVEL COMPETITIVE EVENTS PROGRAM


ML testing occurs at the Region Leadership Conferences (RLC) or at the home-site school (varies by region).

Objective Tests: Business Computations, Business Concepts, Business Spelling, Career Exploration,
Computer Concepts, Current Events, Employability Skills, FBLA Creed/Code of Ethics/Pledge, Internet
Concepts, Introduction to Business Communication, Leadership Concerts, Parliamentary Procedures,
Personal Finance Concepts, Technology Concepts
School Site Tests: Keyboarding Applications I, Keyboarding Applications II,
Desktop Publishing Application, Spreadsheet
State-Only Events: Computer Slideshow Presentation, Intro to Public Speaking, Web Page Creation
Chapter Events: American Enterprise Project, Community Service Project, Local Chapter Activities Report
