SOP for Maruti Suzuki

I decided Mechanical Engineering as my undergraduate course because I was

interested in automobiles and aeronautics right from my school days. Further my
father is also a mechanical engineer and hence this has helped me to know the
kind of career opportunities mechanical engineers have. And after pursuing this
course, my interest in this field has only increased. Hence I would like to take up
a career in this field and especially with Maruti Suzuki, as it is India's leader in
auto-sector. Working for this company would give me a great opportunity to put
the theoretical knowledge gained in these four years to practical utility.
Even though I would be happy to work for any of the four clusters mentioned in
the job profiles document, my interests are leaned a bit more towards the
engineering cluster. This is because; I am really interested to learn about how to
design the modern day complex automobiles with such a great precision.
I am a certified professional in AutoCAD 2013, with 83% score. I have also got
some industrial exposure while doing internship at BHEL Hyderabad, where I was
into steam turbine fabrication unit. I also have knowledge of CFD and Industrial
Engineering as these are the electives I have chosen during my B.Tech.
