Admissions Process
The main points of entry into the School are at ages 4, 11, 13 or
16 years, though pupils may join us at any age and at any stage
throughout the year, provided there are places and the entry
requirements are met. Boarders are usually accepted from the
age of 11. An informal interview and visit to the School is
recommended. Should a place be offered, a registration form
should be completed at the earliest opportunity.
The very best way to experience the true flavour of Oswestry School
is to visit us in person and we would be delighted to welcome you
to the School at any time.
A deposit, 100 for day pupils, 1500 for boarders, is required once
a pupil has been accepted. It is returnable, less any outstanding
charges, within four months of the end of a pupils final term.
Termly fee
There are three terms per year - Michaelmas (September to
December), Lent (January to March) and Trinity (April to July).

Weekly Boarding
We recommend that you allow at least two hours in order to make the
most of your visit. This will enable you to meet the Headmaster and
enjoy a guided tour of the School and grounds. The Registrar will
be able to answer any questions you may have.

Bursaries
As a registered charity, the School seeks to be as affordable as
possible, whilst providing education and care at the highest
standards. We receive no government funding and rely solely
on fees to run the School. We do have a bursary fund which may
provide limited funds to assist families. All bursary awards are
carefully assessed by an independent organisation. HM Services,
sibling and Old Oswestrian discounts are also available.
