Speakup Projects
Speakup are involved in two new projects.
One is about common sense ways of energy saving and is funded
by Scottish Power Energy People Trust. They are supporting
people to understand things like draught proofing, insulation and
energy efficient clothing. All this can help keep energy costs down
at home.
There are also lots of organisations and grants, all of which can
help you make the home more energy efficient.
You can find out more here:
http://www.speakup.org.uk/?page_id=204

The other is about the dangers of fire in the home. It will help
people with learning disabilities by producing information and
training which is accessible to them to protect them against fire.
