Shows details and status information of the ETERNUS DX
Selected objects listed under the column "Category" show information
for the following components
Controller Enclosure and its CMs and CAs
Drive Enclosure and its IOMs
Disks
Preventive Maintenance
Detach and replace active components showing early signs of
a failure
Force Disable
Disable components forcibly
A degraded sense information is notified and sent to the server
Force Enable
Forcibly enable a component that was earlier removed from
the system
Locator LED
Controls the Identify LEDs on the Operator Panel and on the
CM of the Controller Enclosure
"turn on" (blinking) or "turn off"

Volume Administration
"Category" provides the performance administration of
volumes
"Action" provides all administration tasks for a selected Volume
or Group of Volumes
Including the administration of the Thin Provisioning Volumes and Snap
Data Volumes

Event Log
Event history information such as volume creation or module
failure
Entries are stored in a ring buffer with maximum of 400 log entries
Up to 400 last events

Export Log
Export or delete internal logs
Segment size of the exported file and the time range of logs can be
specified
By clicking the "Delete" button all internal logs can be deleted

Export G-List
Export (save) information of G-List (Growth-List) and Nonmedium Error Counts that are recorded in the disk
management area of each disk

Shutdown/Restart System
Shutdown or reboot
Normally these tasks are rarely necessary because all hardware
activities can be done online

Export Configuration
Save the ETERNUS DX configuration information in an
external user-specified folder
The configuration information is saved in binary format
It is recommended to export the ETERNUS DX configuration before and
after the configuration is changed
This saved data file can be used to recover a critical problem later

Backup Configuration
Save the configuration settings
Up to four configurations can be saved and later applied to the
ETERNUS DX S2 system
It is recommended to save the configuration every time the configuration
is changed

Apply Configuration
The default user account "f.ce" can apply a selected
configuration setting
One of the last three configurations

An exported configuration file

Initialize BUD
All firmware archives, internal logs and Panic Dumps of the
ETERNUS DX S2 are deleted
Currently active firmware needs to be re-registered after the
initialization
