Glover Park Hardware finalized a lease for new space in the neighborhood on Monday, and the

months, but not before a heated procedural spat with the local advisory neighborhood commission.

PRESERVATION
Tregaron Conservancy born out of a prolonged battle over housing development on the historic

The U.S. Commission of Fine Arts says a proposed erosion control and improvement project at
Kalorama Park should either respect the site's historic rectangular landscape scheme, or scrap it

The U.S. Commission of Fine Arts last week accepted a National Park Service proposal to slice a
5-foot-wide opening in Meridian Hill Park's 16th Street wall in order to run a gently sloping ramp to
the parks lowest level, which is currently inaccessible to those in wheelchairs. (Dupont Current)
RECREATION
A new $20,000 grant from a local developer will help residents in their push to restore and beautify
Gompers Park, located at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and 10th and L streets.
