Improved productivity and communication

IMPAX 6.5 provides faster retrieval of images, enables communication between different departments and referring physicians, and provides efficient reporting workflow to increase
productivity. It combines automated task management with efficient presentation of relevant clinical information to support informed healthcare delivery. To facilitate communications among healthcare providers, IMPAX 6.5 includes image-enabled chat, permitting clinicians to dialogue about images in context with the IMPAX display.

More efficient mammography workflow

Long-established, industry-leading IMPAX for Breast Imaging offers full support of the IHE
Mammography Image Profile, which helps healthcare organizations improve Womens Care
efficiency by solving typical display problems in mixed vendor environments. By eliminating standalone workstations and allowing access to any image from a single multi-modality
workstation, IMPAX 6.5 improves radiologist efficiency, removes the need to push or pull
studies to individual workstations, and enables an integrated imaging workflow in place of
standalone workstations that function as separate digital islands.

New desktop productivity tools

IMPAX 6.5 delivers one of the most extended desktops in the industry, offering advanced
image processing in a multi-modality environment for consistent and productive reporting
workflows. Agfa HealthCare has teamed with third party market leaders to deliver market
advanced solutions for peer review, teaching file management, orthopaedic templating, advanced image processing and, new in 2011, a fully integrated Nuclear Medicine processing
platform.

State-of-the-art business intelligence

Part of the Agfa HealthCares advanced IMPAX RIS and PACS offerings, IMPAX Business Intelligence is an advanced platform that enables healthcare managers and care providers to
compile, organize, and manage clinical, quality, financial, and administrative data available
in the IMPAX solution, from exam ordering to results distribution. Through an advanced
Data Warehouse, managers and care providers will have access to data that enables them
