Klimt: The Naked Truth: Travelling Trophy Arrives Late, But Well Rested

The exhibited works (drawings and prints, as well as a
number of sculptures) reveal the radicalism of the groups
artists in their choice of motifs and their experimental style,
particularly when viewed in the context of the time. Brief
portraits of the movements leading figures (including Alfred
Roller, Kolo Moser and Maximilian Lenz), contemporary
photographs, exhibition posters and catalogues document
the group.
It is testament to their productivity that over the period of
just a few years the group mounted 23 exhibitions, at which
it presented both its own pieces and those of international
artists that had provided inspiration. Some of those influential works by artists including Paul Gaugin and Edvard
