Injury Update - Ji-Man Choi suffered a fractured right fibula in yesterdays Cactus League opener.
HR Line in CF - New for the 2015 Cactus League season is a yellow line on the center field blue
monsterballs hit above the yellow line off the batters eye will now be a home run at Peoria Stadium.

HEY BOB, DID YOU KNOWthat todays starting pitcher Roenis Elias became only the 7th
rookie pitcher in club history to record 10 wins in a season, going 10-12 in 29 starts in 2014?Elias
won the Mariners 4th spot in the rotation last season going 3-0, 2.38 ERA in 6 G/3 GS last spring.

Last Season - Spent most of season with AAA Round Rock in the Texas

Limiting Damage - Limited opponents to 2 ER or fewer in 11 starts,

The Injury - On DL with left oblique muscle strain, April 29-June 14
Fall League - Pitched for the Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall

#44 LUCAS LUETGE (LHP):

Relief Wins Finished 2nd on the team with 5 wins out of the bullpen
(Leone, 8)T11th in AL in reliever wins.
Hold It - Led the Mariners (12th in AL) with 21 holds.
Opponent Avg - Held opponents to a .229 (48x210) batting average
in 2-year career held opponents to a .214 batting avg and .635 OPS.
Rock Solid - Did not allowed a run in 54 of 66 appearances, and allowed
1 earned run or less in 62 of 66 games.

#35 JOE SAUNDERS (LHP):

Signed as a minor league free agent on Feb. 20, 2015
Last Season - Appeared in 14 games with the Rangers (8 G/GS, 0-5,
6.13 ERA) and Orioles (6 G/0 GS, 0-0, 13.50 ERA).
Bounced Around - Spent time with the Rangers (3/6-7/4), Royals (7/829) and Orioles (8/4-end of season) organizationson the DL with a
bruised left ankle (4/4-5/27).
Made 10 relief appearances with Norfolk before being selected by BAL
first career relief appearance Sept. 5 at Tampa Bay (0.2,0,0,0,0,0,HBP).
