HEY BOB, DID YOU KNOWthat todays starting pitcher Roenis Elias became only the 7th
rookie pitcher in club history to record 10 wins in a season, going 10-12 in 29 starts in 2014?Elias
won the Mariners 4th spot in the rotation last season going 3-0, 2.38 ERA in 6 G/3 GS last spring.

Last Season - Went 10-12, 3.85 ERA (70 ER, 163.2 IP) in 29 starts during his rookie season.
Shut Down - Shut down for the season after leaving start Sept. 16 at LAA with a strained flexor bundle in his left elbow.
10 Win Rookies - 7th rookie pitcher in club history with 10+ wins in season, first since John Halama (11) & Freddy Garcia (17) in 1999.
