    1) A young greenhorn is nervous on his first watch aboard a cargo ship sailing through a stormy sea. An old salt warns him to keep his eyes peeled for creatures that lurk in the ocean depths. 2) As the old salt is pulled overboard by a spirit tendril, the greenhorn rings the alarm bell. Tendrils then attack the ship. 3) A massive ocean spirit rises up and smashes the ship, dragging the splintered wreck down into the black icy waters as the greenhorn watches in terror.
