    Trent University DNA Forensic Science Camp

    Dear Sir or Madam:
    I am writing to you in the hopes of reaching out to students about the exciting opportunities
    academic camps possess. Trent University's DNA Forensic Science Camp is a summer camp that
    is held on the Trent University campus in Peterborough, ON, and is designed for students ages
    13-18 with a keen interest in science, and the ever growing field of forensics.
    The Forensic Science Camp aims to stimulate an interest in the sciences by combining the
    excitement of crime scene investigation and DNA forensics with the unique educational
    opportunity to learn from practicing experts. Campers will hear first-hand from practitioners in
    fields such as Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, Forensic Entomology, Law Enforcement, Wildlife
    Genetics, DNA Forensics, as well as participate in fun educational activities.
    Last year, students from across Canada enjoyed our camp and we look forward to making the
    camp an even bigger success this year with new sessions, scenarios, and guest speakers. We offer
    full and partial bursaries to students that express financial need, as well as academic excellence.
