Any tee used to join two connectors must be the same size as
the common vent. The size of common vent called for by any
of the three appliance combinations (FAN+FAN, FAN+NAT,
NAT+NAT) determines the size of the tee. Using too small a
tee will restrict flow when both appliances are operating.
Correct choice of tee size is shown in Figure 16. This same
rule applies to tee fittings used in manifolds, as will be
discussed in Section 6-6.
