How: I asked if she is available on the October 7, 2014. She accepted it and the
interview followed.

3. What are the different health problems among teenagers?
4. What is the most common disease among teenagers?
5. How can you prevent that most common disease?

Proposition 1: Teenagers having Unhealthful Diet


Teenagers are not having a balanced diet. They are not having the proper nutrition in
their body. Teenagers tend to eat more unhealthful snacks and soft drinks that contain
huge amounts of sugar.
Proposition 2: Teenagers having Vices
Teenagers tend to use prohibited drugs, drinking alcoholic beverages, and smoking
tobacco. They are trying new things to them to know its effects. All of these vices have
dangerous effects when not controlled.
Proposition 3: Teenagers who are studying may be left behind in school.
Teenagers are left behind in school because the time that they must be studying at
school is used in hospitalization. They have no capacity to work and study. It makes
your body frail and not active.

Proposition 4: Having vices is bad for your psychological health.


Vices are dependence on a substance or habit and shows lack of self-esteem, love,
attention or any other thing to do. Thats only the beginning of so many problems. It is a
mind problem that can be solved not only by medicines but by therapy for a long time.
That already is a sign that your mental health suffers.
Proposition 5: Common cold is one of the most common disease.
There are 200 viruses that can cause cold. Rhinovirus being the most common virus
that can cause cold. The symptoms of cold are: sneezing, runny nose, coughing, sore
throat and having fever.

Proposition 6: Having Good and Proper Hygiene


Having a good and proper hygiene cleans your body to make it bacteria and virus free
that may cause colds. Hand washing is the most important because you need it before
and after meals and using the Comfort Room that mostly contain bacteria because of
human wastes.
Proposition 7: Some teenagers are not guided by parents
Some parents forget to teach their sons/daughters of values that leads to doing bad
things and vices. Teenagers must be counseled before they make it a habit which is bad
and dangerous.
Proposition 8: How teenagers sometimes buy their vices
Some teenagers must have an elder that help them to do their vices. They must be
reported the respective authorities because it is against the law of the Philippines and
guide them in correcting their habits.
Proposition 9: Hypertension as a health problem of teenagers

High blood pressure in younger children is often related to other health conditions such
as heart defects, kidney disease, genetic conditions or hormonal disorders. In older
children especially those who are overweight the precise cause of high blood pressure
is often unknown.
Proposition 10: Body becoming weak/frail and being inactive.
Our body must have become weaker because of the health problems that we have. It
reduces the efficiency of our organ to work for our body.
