Project
The IT Innovation Group at BMW Information Technology Research Center is seeking ambitious self-starters who
can help visualize, plan, build and test applications to advance our business. A background in programming and
computer science is essential and knowledge of and interest in the auto industry is preferred. Strong
communication skills and the ability to move between roles as project manager and developer are required.
Requirements
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Have full time status at an accredited four year college or university in the United States
Pursuing a BS or Graduate Degree as indicated
Have completed three semesters towards that degree by the start of the work term
Able to complete 3 rotating terms for co-op positions
Have at least 1 remaining term in school after the completion of the co-op or internship
Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
Enrolled with the university co-op or career services office
Complete and pass a pre-placement physical and substance abuse test before the work term
U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering
Skills required to accomplish this goal will include a combination of the following:
- Software development experience, particularly on mobile platforms inlcuding iOS, Android and HTML5
- Web Portals, web development, graphics and media editing, project management and SharePoint administration.
- Ability to incorporate new technologies into working systems such as gesture based controls and new or novel
display technologies.
- Solid overall computing skills in a corporate environment with respect to networks and security
- Ability to self-manage projects and communicate well in a team setting.
- Examples of work or working systems that use the above skills (of moderate complexity) are helpful.
