Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

What better place to enjoy the beauty

of Gods handiwork than at the
Arboretum?
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
is a nationally celebrated display of
garden covering more than 5000
varieties of plants. It has been named
one of Americas 10 great places to
smell the flowers by USA Today.
Our meeting will be in the MacMillan
Auditorium in the Visitor Center.
After lunch you are free to explore
the Arboretum. Must sees: The
Snyder building that houses the
Meyer-Deats Conservatory, The Gift
Shop, and the internationally
renowned Anderson Horticulture
Library - home to a large and unique
collection of books on horticulture,
gardening, natural sciences and more;
and of course the beautiful grounds!

The gardens are breathtaking. Explore

the Three Mile Drive - on foot,
bicycle or by car. The road meanders
through the Arboretum and offers
views of many of its gardens, exhibits
and collections. For more close-up
exploration, walk the 12 miles of
paved paths and woodchip hiking
trails.

If need be - bring your umbrella.

Its beautiful even in the rain.

Women United, Coming Together in Christ to Make

a Difference, is a ministry welcoming ladies of all
ages and backgrounds. It brings us
together to
worship, learn, grow and to fellowship with one
another celebrating what we have in common:
our love for our Lord Jesus Christ!
This Women United got it's start in 2002 at the
United Methodist Church in Arlington, Minnesota
by a group of women who love Jesus, wanting to
unify and share their faith with others. We have
grown to now have two Chapters, one based in
Arlington and one based in Fridley. We are
interdenominational and encourage the "churched"
and "un-churched" to attend our events. We have
three events per year. Striving for unity, we come
together crossing all denominational boundaries to
get 'stirred up' to become all God wants us to be.
