processing and validation. Fluid mechanics, computational hydraulics, open channel hydraulics.
On filed measurements and analysis of transient flow in water distribution networks and
hydropower systems. Leakage from water distribution networks reduction using inverse transient
methods and continuous pressure transients monitoring. GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
and its usage with Urban Drainage, Hydrology and Flooding mathematical models: development of
tools for data linkage, routines for automatic data creation, surface flow pattern analysis,
delineation and automatic flow path generation. Experimental Urban drainage catchments,
measurements of rainfall, runoff and water quality.
