Ghana Christian College - The College began her 27th yearwith a near capacity enrollment of 85 students. The
boarding capacity is full and the classroom space is filled to 95%. The College has recently purchased land on
which to re-locate the campus facilities.
Since arriving back in Ghana in August after a short 4 month furlough, Tim Bright continues to teach at the
College. He is teaching three courses. Besides his classes, Tim is a promotional officer for the College,
secretary ofthe Spiritual Life Committee and member ofthe Faculty Affairs Committee. Tim is busy writing
materials to be used in teaching seminars for the churches as well as in teaching at Ghana Christian College.
Tim is also serving as vice-president for the Association of Missionaries of the Christian Church in West
Africa. Currently, Tim Bright is chairperson for the West African Mission Conference, April, 1994. Tim also
serves as a volunteer warden for the U.S. Embas^ in Accra, Ghana.
Feb., 1993 -Twyla and Tim traveled to avillage called Towora. It is located near adistrict capital. Astudent,
John Adjei Mensah, along with the Brights planted the work there. Tim preached without the aid of lights'
films, or public address and spoke for about 2 hours on the life and ministry of Christ. 15 came for baptism.'
November, 1993. Anew church was planted in a nearby growing community of Ashaiman Nov. 5-7. Tim
assisted ari evangelist in planting a new Christian Church. The evangelist,Nicolas Otumfo, was trained by
Ghana Christian College several years ago. On Dec. 26 six were baptized from the Frafra tribe of northern
Ghana. They are now part ofthis small, but growing congregation. Many ofthe north are settling in southem
regions.
Since the beginning of 1994 Tim has helped plant a new church in a village called Fumesua. This village is
strategically located five miles from Kumasi, the second largest city (600,000) of Ghana. 1S were baptized
on Sunday, Feb. 18-20. Four college students helped in this effort.
Since coming to Ghana in 1991 Tim has assisted in helping plant 8new churches. Six are still existing. Of the

PLANNED FOR 1994 - 2 more new churches. Mar. 25-26 at Dabala and May 7-8 at Asesewa (Krobol
speaking ethnic group). Tim has been keeping a pace of about 4 new churches per year.
Besides training college students, assisting in planting new churches Tim also leads seminars and revivals. A
Sunday school teacher's training course was justcompleted at the Mayera Christian Church in Feb. 1994 Tim
has a full schedule ofspeaking dates to August of 1994 that includes training leaders in the local churches
revivals, and new churches.

Twyla continues to teach full-time at Ghana Intemational School. She teaches Form III (similar to 10th grade)
English Literature. Twyla is an advisor for the school newspaper, "Vibes."
Nathan and Tai are in Form ||| and II. They take afull range of courses from Physics and Chemistry to French,
English, Geography and Math. Nathan participates in intramural sports and Tai enjoys reading. They are both
doing fine. Both enjoy swimming.

We are deeply grateful forthe response to letters indicating our need for money to pay the rent for 1994. The
many Christmas cards and the out pouring of your personal letters indicate your love to us. We are vety
thankful to you all. The packages that many have sent have been received as gracious blessings. Thank you all
so much.
Tasha is finishing high school in Indiana and plans to attend Cincinnati Bible College. Teresa is a freshman at
Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ. Lance, married, lives and works in Indianapolis, IN. Kris is in Indiana
at the present time.

amounts above and decide what God's will is in committing for 1994.
Twyla, Nathan andTai plan to travel to the states for approximately sjx weeks in July and August of 1994 if
the funds are available. Please pray with us that we will know God's will. They plan to visit family and friends
that they have not seen for some time.
1. Pray for peace to prevail in Ghana. While we are in no danger in the southern pert, there is a growing
concern over the conflict from-the northern region.
3. Pray for the Bright's health, safety and strength in order to accomplish thethe goals ahead.
4. Pray for the relocation project of the GCC &3campus - Funds are needed now. Aclass, youth group or VBS
can buy blocks for 50 cents each.**
5. Pray for ministers who have barely enough to eat. For $50 per month you may help a preacher Get
