BUILDERS CLUB
Builder's Club will meet this week on Thursday from 2:20-3:00 in Ms. DeGraw's
classroom.
ALL STUDENTS
Our last social of the year will be Friday, 3/27! The 6th grade social is from 2:304, and the 7th/8th grade social is from 5-6:30. We will have a DJ, games, and
open gym. The cost is $2.00 at the door (which goes toward your class' Pennies
for Patients total) and there will also be pizza, pop and treats for sale. We will
also be drawing names of students to play in the student vs. staff basketball
game during the dance. Come support this great cause while having fun with
your friends at our last social of the year!
PENNIES FOR PATIENTS
Remember to bring your change for Pennies for Patients. The class that raises
the most money per student in class will win a pasta party. Also, if the school
raises more than $4,000 we will win two pizza parties for the next two top
earners. All proceeds from the dance this Friday (March 27th) will count toward
sixth hour totals. In the past two days we have raised $400 during our 6th hours.
That is awesome! Our goal is $5,000 so we still have a long way to go. Teachers,
if you need your online donation link please email Mrs. Chandel. Don't forget to
pass along the link to family members and friends in case they would like to
donate to the cause as well. Proceeds from the dance this Friday will go towards
Pennies for Patients. The cost is $2, however you can always donate more. Your
donation will be counted towards your sixth hour totals. Keep bringing in that
change, checks and cash!!
YEARBOOKS
1) Yearbooks are STILL on sale, now at $35 and WITHOUT a nameplate. You can
purchase them online or bring your order to the office until next Thursday, April
2nd. Don't miss out!
2) Book Club members, please be sure to come promptly today at lunch for a
group picture for the yearbook!
3) Yearbook staff, a reminder that we'll be meeting today in Mr. Dutcher's lab at
2:30
ASTRONOMY CLUB
There will be an Astronomy Club meeting today. See Mr. Kimball with any
questions.
MARCH IS READING MONTH

Our book character dress up day is this Friday, March 27. Come to school
dressed as your favorite book character. This promises to be a fun day so be
sure to be involved!
EXPLORATORY PREFERENCE FORMS
Just a reminder to all 6 th and 7th grade students to please turn in their
exploratory preference forms for next year to the office.
INTRAMURAL VOLLEYBALL
Sixth grade intramural volleyball for girls and boys will begin on Tuesday, April
14 from 2:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m. in the north gym. There is no charge for
intramurals and a physical is not required to participate. Participants should
wear tennis shoes, shorts and t-shirt. Kneepads are not necessary. Intramural
volleyball will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from April 14 April
30. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Pringle.
INSTRUCTIONAL VOLLEYBALL
The Haslett volleyball Instructional league will be starting on April 14th and run
until May 27th on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 3:45 - 5:00. This league is
different than after school intramurals. It is open to both boys and girls in 6th
grade. If you are interested see Mrs. McCann for flyers and details.
