The WaCo WaCo: Wafer Chocolate Balls

Let your sweetness bloom

The Three Market Questions

What to produce?
WaCo-WaCo Bites. A unique kind of pastry that will fulfil your cravings for a luscious
chocolate, a crispy wafer, and soft mamon combined in one to remove the hunger in you.

For whom to produce?

Our WaCo-Waco Bites will benefit everyone for it is convenient to all. At first, our
product only focused on the students of Baliuag University. But as our product reached the eyes
of couples and people outside the campus who seem to be interested, we decided to elongate the
range of our target market. Our target market now are the people around Bulacan that need a
unique yet affordable bouquet to give to their loved ones on/even not on Valentines Day.

How to produce?
To make our scrumptious WaCo-WaCo Bites, the following ingredients are needed:
-

Mamons
Wafers (cubed)
All-Purpose Cream
Premium Chocolate
Milk Chocolate
Sprinkles

Procedure:
1. Crash the mamon into tiny pieces.

For packaging:
- Candy Sticks
- Clear Plastic Cellophane
- Ribbons

2. Cut the wafers into tiny cubes.

3. Pour the all-purpose cream to the crashed mammon.

4. Shape the creamed mamon in a ball with the cubed wafers inside it.

5. Coat the ball-shaped wafer mamon with melted chocolate.

6. To add some designs, roll it over to sprinkles or any kind of small candies.
7. For packaging, put a stick in it and wrap it on a clear plastic cellophane and tie some
ribbon in it.

Babaan ang price.
Patigasin pa ng konti yung wafer mammon kasi pag kinagat, nadudurog.

Wag masyado malaki yung chocolate balls kasi madaling malaglag at para di madaling
madurog.
Maglagay pa ng ibang flavours.
Wala. Masarap sobra. Kakaiba kasi yung lasa.
Ang galing. Di ko naisip na pwedeng paghaluhaluin yung mammon, chocolate, saka wafer tas
ganun kakalabasan.
Worth it ang 30 pesos ko.
Gagawin ko to pag holidays.
The best ang presentation. Sosyal!

Our Experience
In a business, may it be a small or a big one, it is expected that there will be things that
will not work out. There are also the times that there has to be moments when we need to take a
risk and try something new so that in the end, everything will be successful.

It is not our first time to try making products and selling it. During high school, we
already encountered doing these things. But there is a big difference on what we experienced
then and now. It was hard, of course, to find the ingredients that we will need. We have to find a
cheaper ingredient that also has the quality that we will use so that the price of our product will
be affordable. We tried different stores and groceries for the sake of finding those that we will
need.
After finding the materials we will make use of, we first have to observe and know the
market we are targeting. Since it is the season of love when we are said to sell, we have to
advertise to lovers in and out of campus. We made sure to have created something for lovers and
to those who are single so that theyll be interested to buy.
On the making process, we also experienced having trouble with producing the perfect product.
There are times when we didnt do the right procedure and we didnt get the taste that we want,
times when we ourselves, are having a problem with each others opinions, the times when we
have to argue and end up devastated.
We too had a very hard time selling our products. One minute well sell too many but a
minute later we have to find new customers. We have to downsize the stock that we have.
In the end, it was a worthwhile experience for us. From this whole marketing project, we
practiced about different skills that we can use in the future when we start making business. We
also learned many things especially about planning and organizing. We realized numerous things
about doing business. And that hard work and time is really needed for a successful business.
