!! CUFF it UP!!
a fundraiser for the
ELCA World Hunger
Walk for Water
program.

following the 6 PM Worship

Service as we celebrate the
Majesty Choir in their Cantata
Presentation with a Fellowship
Meal. Fellowship Life will be
serving Chicken Casserole,
Cranberry Salad, Dinner Rolls,
Dessert and Drinks.

Each weekend random names will be

drawn from the church directory -- if
your name is drawn and you do not
have insurance, you may be wearing
cuffs!

THE CHALLENGE IS ON!

The Sunday School challenge has
the boys versus the girls to see
who can raise the most money for
ELCA World Hunger Walk-forWater campaign. The Sunday
School offerings will be deposited
in a well with buckets
separately marked BOYS and
GIRLS. The bucket with the
greatest amount in donations will
determine who will receive a pool
party at the Norfolk YMCA. The
well is located in the back of
the sanctuary. Everyone is
invited to donate to either
bucket!

We will again be celebrating the

Greening of the Cross here at
St. Johns. On Easter Sunday you
are invited to bring flowers to
decorate the cross, turning it from
the Cross of the Passion to the
Cross of the Resurrection. If you

of the congregations needs and
opportunities. The profile also
includes the history of St. Johns
along with information about the
community.
We appreciate the input from all
who participated in the survey at
our annual meeting. The
information you provided was very
helpful in the completion of the
Ministry Site Profile.
The call committee will be
meeting with the synod
representative in April to determine
the process for interviews. As we
move forward with the call for a new
pastor for St. Johns, let us pray for
the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Come To The Water

working to dig wells and help
supply water to those parts of the
world where there is little or no
fresh water.
