The celebration of Holy Week and Easter Sunday is upon

us. Once again we will be hosting the Maundy Thursday service in

our Fellowship Hall. You wont want to miss any of the services
each day of Holy Week. On Monday and Tuesday, the services will
be held at the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church.
The Wednesday noon service will be held at the First Presbyterian
Church of Bainbridge. The meal will begin at l1:45 and be followed
by a devotional. Cost will be $5, at the door.
We will have the 7AM Sunrise Service Easter Sunday
morning, followed by the regular 9 and 11 AM services. There will
be no services or activities here on Easter Sunday evening.
The Easter celebration will begin this Sunday morning with
the Choirs presentation of the Easter Musical. You wont want to
miss that service.
Please note the financial report in this Builder. You will see
that we are behind the weekly budget needs by $19,713.29. This
should be a concern to all of us. Traditionally as the weather warms
and summer arrives, our giving lessens as people tend to go on
vacations and outings. Lets make every effort to continue to fulfill
our commitment to God and His work.
The Easter celebration and season reminds us that we do
serve the Risen, Living Savior. That Savior, Jesus, is the source of
our strength, joy and hope. His is the object of our worship and the
purpose behind our service. Lets celebrate together the Resurrected
Lord.

YOUR GRACE STILL AMAZES ME

One great hymn that we grew up singing is Grace
Greater than Our Sin.
Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt
Yonder on Calvarys mount outpoured,
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt.*
*Words by Julia H Johnston

His grace is greater than our sin and guilt. Sometimes we

forget that Jesus power over sin is greater than our own. In
fact, we have no power at all over sin and guilt. Only He can
erase it; only His blood can wash it away.
This musical is centered on that theme. It is really a simple
concept, but sometimes hard to accept because it is almost too
marvelous to fathom. As we share these songs Sunday, we
give God glory for the truth of His Word, and surrender our
own will to His. His grace is still amazing!

Merge 2015

Plans for camp this summer are beginning to fall

into place. I am excited about the week we will
spend together hearing from God and His Word. I
want to ask you, as a church, to begin praying for
all the logistics to come together and also to pray
for the students who will be attending Merge this
year. If you would be interested in praying for a
student by name, let me know and I can give you
the name of a student that you can begin praying
for!! What a blessing that would be for a teenager
to know that the church is lifting him/her up in
prayer!
Summer is a busy time of year for families as well
as for our student ministry and maybe you want to
be a blessing to a family and help with the finical
cost of camp. Let me know if that is a way you
would like to have a part in a teenagers life.
Thank you so much for being a church body that
wants to see the students in the church have an
active role and responsibility in the life of the
church. Thank you as well for your support!
Blessings,
Jeff
