THE SABBATH PART 2

EARLY BELIEVERS SABBATH OBSERVANCE

ERROR OF CHRISTIAN INTERPRETATION
We must remember the scripture must be interpreted and put in context of an
eastern way of thought. Scripture is not confusing once you understand who it is
written to and why it was written. If we do not have a concept of the culture and
their way of thought, we may error trying to understand and interpret what is being
said. We will attempt to discuss the scripture in a way that is consistent with the
Hebrew custom.
It is believed that Messiah rose from the dead on Sunday (Day of the Sun) morning.
Lets look from a Hebraic perspective and see if this statement is true.
Luk 23:55 And having followed, also the women who were accompanying Him out of Galilee,
watched the tomb, and how His body was placed.
Luk 23:56 And returning, they prepared spices and perfume. And indeed they rested on the
Sabbath, according to the commandment.
We see the women rested on the Sabbath, according to the
commandment. They knew they could not go to the tombs on the Sabbath.
Mat 28:1 But after the Sabbaths, at the dawning into the first of the Sabbaths (feast of first
fruits), Mariam of Magdalene and the other Mariam came to look upon the grave.
Mat 28:2 And, behold! A great earthquake occurred! For descending from Heaven and coming
near, a cherub of YAHWEH rolled away the stone from the door and was sitting on it.
Mat 28:3 And his face was as lightning and his clothing white as snow.
Mat 28:4 And those keeping guard were shaken from the fear of him, and they became as dead.
Mat 28:5 But answering, the cherub said to the women, You must not fear, for I know that you
seek Yahshua who has been crucified.
Mat 28:6 He is not here, for He was raised, as He said. Come see the place where He was lying.
Now let us dissect what is being said. Lets first understand that that 3
days and 3 nights is 3 full days and 3 full nights.
Mat 12:39 But answering, He said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and
a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet.
Mat 12:40 And even as "Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights," so
shall the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. (Jon. 1:17)
Remember the biblical day begins at sundown and ends at sundown. In
other words from evening to evening. However for the sake of making it
easy we will even use a regular day like here in the west.
So lets count 3 days and 3 nights from Good Friday.

1st Day= All day and all night Friday

2nd Day= All day and all night Saturday
3rd Day= All day and all night Sunday
This would mean that The Messiah rose on Sunday Night or possibly
Monday morning. We except this and no one stands up to the Pastor or
Religion who teaches this. This is clearly error.
The Messiah actually rose at the end of the Sabbath. Lets think from a
Hebraic stand point again. The women could not go to the tomb because
of the Sabbath. At the end of the Sabbath at sundown it turns dark. Two
women are not going to walk possibly several miles to a grave by
themselves at night. Remember there were no street lights in those days.
So after night passes and the sun begins to rise and the women head to
the tomb. When they arrived at the tomb he was already risen. If a person
researches the Passover they will find that the Messiah died on a Thursday
and the reason the tomb was empty is because He had risen toward the
end of the Sabbath. Not early on Sunday morning. Regardless 3 days and 3
nights does not equal Sunday from Good Friday. What was so good
about it anyway, our Messiah had to lay down His life because of our sin.
Lets look at another scripture used to change the Sabbath to Sunday by
Christianity. This is the verse I taught people as to why we met on
Sundays instead of Saturday.
Act 20:7 And on one of the Sabbaths, the disciples having been assembled to have a fellowship
meal together, being about to depart on the next morning, Paul reasoned to them. And he
continued his speech until midnight.
Act 20:8 And many lamps were in the upper room where they were gathered.
Act 20:9 And a young man named Eutychus was sitting in a window and listening. And while
Paul prolonged his preaching, he sunk into a deep sleep; and, in his sleep, he fell from the third
loft, and was taken up as dead.
KJV
Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread,
Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until
midnight.
Act 20:8 And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
Act 20:9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a
deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the
third loft, and was taken up dead.
Act 20:10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not
yourselves; for his life is in him.

Now lets think with a Hebraic thought again. During the Sabbath, our people
would have a assembly and study and worship together. Because they could not
cook on the Sabbath (they may have bought cold food) many people would possibly
be hungry. So after the Sabbath they were able to cook a meal together and the
assembly broke bread together. As in our time, many of the men would continue to
discuss the word such as what Paul was doing. Many of our families today meet for
the Sabbath the whole day and have a meal together after the Sabbath. It also says
they had lamps burning and the young man fell due to being tired. That is because
the Sabbath was over and they had been there all day and going into midnight.
This in no way makes it ok or gives privilege to change the commands of THE
MOST HIGHS Sabbath. This is not proof text to prove the day was changed to
Sunday.
The Book Of Acts was written possibly 70 to 80 years after the Messiah died. Lets
look at some scripture showing they were still keeping the Sabbath.
Act 1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from
Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
We see they are still using the Sabbath to judge travel. If the Sabbath was no longer observed
they why use the Sabbath.
Gentiles were expected to keep the Sabbath and the commands.
Act 15:19 For this reason I judge not to trouble those from the nations turning to YAHWEH,
Act 15:20 but to write to them to hold back from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication,
and from things strangled, and blood.
Act 15:21 For in every city from ancient generations Moses has those proclaiming Him, having
been read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.
Because of all the gentiles or nations coming into the truth of Master Yah
and His Son, many of them did not know the commands of THE MOST HIGH
or the custom of the Hebrews. However what was told to them were
actually some of the commands of THE MOST HIGH YAHUAH. Look at these
scripture and tell me if they relate to what the elders in verse 20.
IDOLS
Exo 20:3 You shall not have any other Elohim before My face.
Exo 20:4 You shall not make a graven image for yourself, or any likeness in the heavens above,
or in the earth beneath, or in the waters under the earth;
Exo 20:5 you shall not bow to them, and you shall not serve them; for I am YAHWEH your
Elohim, a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, on the third and on the fourth
generation, to those that hate Me;
BLOOD

Lev 3:17 It shall be a never ending statute for your generations in all your dwellings. You shall
not eat any fat or any blood.
Lev 17:14 For it is the life of all flesh; its blood is for its life. And I say to the sons of Israel, You
shall not eat blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is in the blood; anyone eating it is cut
off.

WHORING
Lev_17:7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a
whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
Lev_20:5 then I shall set My face against that man, and against his family, and shall cut him off,
and all who go whoring after him, even going whoring after Molech from the midst of their
people.
Lev_20:6 And the person who turns to mediums, and to spiritists, to go whoring after them, I
shall set my face against that person, and cut him off from the midst of his people.

STRANGLED
Lev_5:2 Or if a soul touches any unclean thing, or the unclean dead body of an animal, or the
unclean dead body of livestock, or the dead body of unclean swarming things, it being hidden
from him that he is unclean and is guilty,

Pay attention to the last verse. Moses being proclaimed in every city on
the Sabbath (paraphrased). We understand that Moses (law) was still
being preached on the Sabbath. This was written to to the early gentile
believers. So when did it change for anyone? Yisraelite or gentile. They
were going to the assembly on the Sabbath and imagine coming into belief
and seeing all of the laws that were to be kept. It would be very
overwhelming. So the Elders gave them a few commands to start with.
Then they could build upon them.
The church explains this away by what is called the APOSTOLIC
DISPENSATION. Which means a period in time in which the Apostles kept
the law until the temple was destroyed.
WORD CHANGE
I am going to give the scripture with the concordance number. These
numbers will prove to be very important. We will be concentrating on the
word Rest. You will see that the verse has been altered to fit the Christian
belief of the translator. Appears to be quite deceptive.

Heb 4:9 There remainethG620 thereforeG686 a restG4520 to theG3588 peopleG2992 of God.G2316

G4520

sabbatismos
sab-bat-is-mos'
From a derivative of G4521; a sabbatism, that is, (figuratively) the repose of Christianity (as a
type of heaven): - rest.
This verse should have said this;
Heb 4:9 It is therefore the duty of the people of YAHWEH to keep the Sabbath .
When the word rest is used, it takes away from the Sabbath. If this verse was used in the KJV
then the Christian church would probably be keeping the Sabbath today because of this one
scripture that would give a direct command. To prove there was a deception in translation look
at the whole verse. Here is the Strongs Concordance Number of the real word REST.
G2664

katapauo

to) desist: - cease, (give) rest (-rain).

Did you see the change in verse 9. It was not a mistake among all the other rests. It was
intentional. Remember Satan is crafty. He does have those who change the translation.
I pray that this study was a help to your understanding of the Sabbath. There are
many more scriptures to discuss on the Sabbath, but I hope this gets you
started.
