ECEisoneofthedepartmentswithUGprogrameexistingfromtheinceptionofourinstitutionandhascontributedsignificantlyforthegrowth
andrecognitionofCBIT.BasedonthefeedbackfromstakeholdersithasdecidedtoestablishCSEandEEEdepartmentsasoffshootofECE.In
ordertocatertotheneedsofsociety,thedepartmentformulateditsvisionandmissionwhichhasresultedinexpandingtotwoPGPrograms
withspecilizationsinCommunicationEngineeringandEmbeddedSystemsandVLSIDesign.
TheDepartmentestablishedthevisionandmissionthroughaconsultativeprocessinvolvingthestakeholdersofthedepartment,thefuture
scopeofthedepartmentandthesocietalrequirementsasshowninFigure1.1.
Inestablishingthevisionandmissionofthedepartment,thefollowingstepswerefollowed:
