Recently the Yount family pictured here with us came to close a chapter in their lives and
open a new one. Shaw, Sharon, Jenna and Michaila served at Loma de Luz for many years. Shaw
and Sharon are both doctors that helped to develop the hospital during their time here. The girls
came as children and are leaving as young ladies. The Yount family are a blessing to us and many
others. We are grateful that the Lord brought our lives together and we were able to create some
great memories with them.
!
In this picture you will also find John and Penny Alden. They will always be great
contributors to the work of our Lord and LDL. John and Penny came to LDL about the same year
that we did in 2004. John is a midwife and penny a nurse. John and Penny have also turned a
chapter in their lives moving on to other things.
!
Centered in the picture is Zina Lillard who with her late husband faithfully served in Italy
for 30+ years. They have
supported LDL from its
beginning, ser ving in
many roles.
!
The
Fi e l d s ,
Merrits, and Yosts will
continue serving the Lord
and the people of
Honduras at LDL until
our next chapter.

Thank you to these
and all the other
missionaries that have
given so faithfully. They
are truly models for us to
follow in ser ving Jesus

Childrens Center

Prayers & Praise

Pray for our cars and the
repairs that are needed. We have
been trying to get cars repaired
for months and still havent been
successful.
Praise for the new families
that have come to join the work
at LDL. They bring youth, young
children and stamina.
Pray for these young families
and their transition. It takes
some time to get settled in.
Praise for the many visitors
that come to help out especially
in the medical work. Many
specialists come and make a
difference in the lives of the
people here.
Pray for Jose who we will
sponsor to attend public school.
He begins Kindergarten Feb.
2nd.
Praise God for all his blessings
that come to you and us. We are
so grateful for such a wonderful
God!

There are lots of things happening at the Childrens center all
the time. As you can see in this years photo the building has been
painted. You can also see that there are lots of children, about 40 at
the time of this writing. We are so grateful for Iain, Liz and Samuel
who have dedicated themselves to all these young lives. School will
begin the first of February for the children and will create much
more activity with transportation, home work, and many other
things. Please pray for the continued work in the lives of these
young people and for their caregivers. Pray also for the Honduran
government that oversees the operations.
