Salam sejahtera..
Hi friends
The title of the book that I have read recently is Eat That Frog by
Brian Tracy. There are a lot of good habits introduced throughout the
book and the author wants us to learn all of them to help us succeed in
our career.
Author Brian Tracy says that your frog should be the most difficult
item on your to-do list, the one youre most likely to procrastinate,
because, if you eat that first, then itll give you energy and momentum
for the rest of the day. But if you dont and you let him sit there on
the plate and stare at you while you do a hundred unimportant things,
it can drain your energy and you wont even know it.
Eat That Frog is the most accessible book on time management:
decision, discipline and determination. In twenty-one practical steps,
he will help us to stop procrastinating and get more of the important
tasks done today.
I recommend to anyone who is searching for inspiration to look no
further. This is a great book.

I do agree with you, Cikgu Mazelan, that reading is a good habit. By
reading, we can widen our knowledge, get new information and know
many new things. My hobby is reading too but most of my books are
in Malays compared to English. I think I should add my English book
too to my collections. It is worth reading variety of book because as a
1

teacher, we should know many things from all over the world.

Yes Mdm Kong. I do agree with your opinion. Now, Malaysian have a
sense awareness of health. Everyone wants to be healthy by eating
right, exercise and see the doctor regularly. It is because health is our
greatest wealth. Without health, we can't do anything.

Persuading someone is not an easy task. I want to share my experience
on how to persuade my kids to help me with household chores. I tell
them. They live here, they do their share of keeping the household.
This may sound harsh, but how are they going to grow into adults that
can keep their own home if we don't expect if of them even when their
young. We have rules like, no games until the house is clean, no
playing till beds are made, etc. As they get older they have specific
jobs as well. For instance, my son knows that when the garbage is full
it's his job to take it to the trash can outside and put a new empty bag
in the bin. They also take turns helping with meals, though my son
prefers making lunch and my daughter supper, so I usually let them do
their preference. I think simply explaining what's expected of them is
helpful.

When thinking about leaving children alone, whether for a short or
long time, it is important for parents to consider the risks involved.
There are many potential risks to children that must be considered.
However, it is important to realize that there can be risks for parents as
well.
Parents in all states are legally responsible for their children's welfare
until they reach adulthood. Part of caring for children is providing
adequate supervision. Under some circumstances a parent can be
charged with neglect for leaving children unattended.
As you can see, parents need to think carefully about many things
before leaving their children alone. And this is important even if you
only leave your child alone occasionally. Putting children in situations
they can handle can help teach them independence and responsibility.
But asking too much too soon can be a frightening and potentially
dangerous situation, for both the child and the parent.

Salam sejahtera,
In my opinions, it's also important to consider how your child handles
various situations. Here are a few questions to think about:

Does your child show signs of responsibility with things like

homework, household chores, and following directions?
How does your child handle unexpected situations? How calm
does your child stay when things don't go as planned?

Does your child understand and follow rules?

Can your child understand and follow safety measures?

Does your child make good judgments or is he or she prone to

taking risks?

Does your child know basic first-aid procedures?

Does your child follow your instructions about staying away

from strangers?

I do agree with you.
The other things to consider are:

Children need and crave your attention. Leave them alone

only if you must, and only if you believe they are mature
enough to be safe. Research shows that latchkey kids (kids
that spend hours alone every day after school) are more likely
to become involved in violence, sexual activity, or drugs and
alcohol than those that are adequately supervised.
If you need to be gone for extended periods of time, try to find
a responsible caregiver or friend they can stay with.
Experts recommend that you never leave a child home alone
overnight

Salam sejahtera,
Life without Internetso boring because we cant log on to
Facebook, it all comes down to how much we personally use the
internet and what for.
Some of us hardly use the internet, where others pretty much live their
life around it! Equally some actually live a completely new life within
the Internet those who use Second Life.

I do agree with you.
We use the internet to communicate more than ever and its become
an integral part of any standard means of communication. So, with no
internet our means of communication would have to adapt. Further
more we would probably resort to basics, that remain free and simply
go talk to friends and family.

Life Without the Internet.

I love the internet. I cant speak for anybody, but idea of living
without the internet is way-too hard for me to imagine. In todays
society, the internet is my best friend, I must admit. Not because I am
constantly chatting with people or socializing but because as a teacher
and student at Kirkby, I have found a great deal of information on the
internet that I would otherwise not have access to. I have used
websites like Google, Yahoo and Youtube to find some information for
my assignment and my task. So, there are many useful applications for
the Internet that I really dont see why anyone would want to try to go
without internet.

Yes, I agree that car drivers should not be allowed to eat or drink
while driving. Eating or drinking while driving is nearly as dangerous
as using a mobile device- whether handheld or hands-free and greatly
increases a drivers risk of being in or causing a collision, according to
new data released by Lytx Europe.
Lytx found that drivers who eat and drink while driving are 3.6 times
more likely to be involved in a collision than those who do not due to
the distraction this causes.

For me, its dangerous eat or drink while driving. We dont have a
specifics section, but for somebody that is eating while driving, now
we can go with the unsafe speed section. What is the safe speed for us
to eat and drive? The safe speed is zero.
