CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT (PART I)

I am hoping this will be a fun and yet resourceful project for you all.
As you already know, we hav e been looking at the Civ il Rights Mov ement and you seem to hav e a good grasp on
the subject. For this project you will design a series of presentations that will assess your knowledge or research of any
approv ed subject during the civ il rights mov ement.
You will choose your topic from any of the following categories and ev en follow a specific group of people within
that category:
Black Power
Gender equity issues
American Indian Movement
Chicano Movement
LGBT rights or gay liberation
Education
Voting Rights
Religious

Part one of the quarter project is separated into 3 parts: an introduction, a timeline, and personal reflection.
INTRODUCTION (30 points: creativ ity, meets requirements, comprehension of information)

Pick which tool you will use for the introduction and initial which you choose. (This must be done for timeline too)
Your introduction must include at least 5 images relating to your topic. (Please cit e w here y ou obt ained t he image)

You must present at least 5 events or themes which you will elaborate on within the rest of the project.

4.

Your introduction should capture the audience enough to urge them to learn more about the mov ement.
