To meet the academic aspirations of the working Engineers and Scientists, the
University has established the School of Continuing and Distance Education in the year
1983.
The school was originally offering B. Tech correspondence - cum - contact
programme (CCC) from 1983 to 2009. Keeping in view of the MHRD and AICTE guidelines,
the B. Tech (CCC) has been suspended since 2010. Now the University is contemplating to
develop the school by starting New and Innovative Technology Management Programmes at
P.G. and P.G. Diploma level.
One Year Post Graduate Diploma programmes in the Continuing Contact (CC) mode.
1. P.G. Diploma in Industrial Safety
2. P.G. Diploma in Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health
One Year Post Graduate Diploma programmes in the Correspondence - cum - Contact
(CCC) mode

Eligibility
(a) A recognized Degree in any branch of Engineering or
Technology
OR
(b) A recognized Degree in science with Physics or
Chemistry and relevant practical experience in a
supervisory capacity for a period of not less than one
year.
A recognized Degree in science / Pharmacy /
Agriculture / Medicine / Technology / Engineering.
(a) B. Pharmacy / B. Sc with Chemistry or Bio-Technology
or Bio-Chemistry.
OR
(b) Post Graduates with the above disciplines are also
eligible
The candidates should have passed any Bachelor's Degree
from a recognized University
A recognized Degree in science / Pharmacy /
Agriculture / Medicine / Technology / Engineering.
A recognized degree in B.E / B. Tech (Civil Eng.)
Or
Its Equivalent.
A recognized degree in B.E / B. Tech (Civil Eng.)
Or
Its Equivalent
A recognized degree with Physics as compulsory in one of
the subjects in 10+2 standard.
