EXPERIENCE DETAILED
Hired short term to assist with Wells Fargo (West) and Wachovia Bank (East) Merger. Converted
large Global 360 (Process 360) VB6 Windows Application to C#.NET. Converted all ViewStar
EBPI COM API’s to G360 Web Services. Created Web Service to interact with CAS Middleware
for accessing FileNet and ImagePlus repositories. Converted Scan Manager to Remote Scan Client
with G360 Centralized Scan Server in order to securely transmit Wachovia Images to Wells Fargo
using HTTPS. Created COM Wrapper to access my Web Service as Albuquerque Site remained on
VB6 for short term. Modified ASP.NET with VB.NET Code Behind to use my Web Service.
Hired to work with the Scan, Fax and OCR group within BCBS IS department. We worked with the scanning/faxing
and OCR’ing 1500 and UB04 medical claims. BCBS uses several different scanning products but all the OCR is done
with AnyDoc. We had Visual Basic 6.0 and .NET programs to read the output of the OCR and forward the output to
the Mainframe using either FTP or MQ Series Messaging. I was one of the first to work with .NET there as I had the
most experience with it. Worked with remote sites and Customer Support to resolve issues with existing and new
software we utilized. BCBS sent me to initial and advanced workflow training with Docfinity software.
