Q: How long have you been playing WAKA?
A: Since 2006
SPOTLIGHTS
Mark Lesco
All About That Base
Q: If you could create a dream team of kickballers, using
celebrities, who would be on your team?
A: Dan Marino and Dwayne Wade, mainly because I really
want to meet them and I guess Kate Upton, I mean have
you seen her in those Game of War commercials? Her
leadership skills seem impeccable.
Q: What theme week would you like to see happen?
A: I know most themes are for during the games, but I think
a great theme for post-game at OSheas would be a lip
sync battle night. Each team sends a rep and best
performance gets some free drinks.
Q: If youre not busy being awesome at kickball, what are you up to?
A: Being awesome at drinking beers and watching sports and
getting ready to become a Daddy in August
Q: At OSheas, what is your go-to drink of choice and
favorite item on the menu?
A: I am a simple man, give me Bud Light and chicken wings
and I am happy as hell.
Q: What is your favorite kickball memory so far?
A: I am a team guy so our first win was a great memory,
everyone contributed in some way, it was great.
Q: What advice can you give to a kickballer to help them survive Friday at work?
A: - Call in sick!
Q: What advice would you give someone who is a rookie
this kickball season?
A: Do not be afraid to bunt. It may not be as sexy as going for
the long ball, like the chicks dig, but it wins games.
Q: What would you like veteran kickballers to know?
A: Youre old, get out of my way.
What are you looking forward to this season?
A: Getting on base, because we are All About That Base,
making some more great catches and trying to win
another game or two.
